This tasting room has plenty of good options, but it is a bit basic inside. The staff was very friendly and helped me determine which version of the Albariño was my favorite. I was able to get the bottle I wanted after trying a few tastes, and it all went quite smoothly. It’s definitely not a bad spot to enjoy a tasting, and they have a good selection of Tabor Hill’s wine for sale.
I haven't been here in years. In fact, I don't even think this is the same location which makes me sad. My mom used to work at the saugatuck tasting room decades ago, seasonally. She loved it. I learned so much about the wine from her. She felt like it wasn't even work and the business made her feel like family. Unfortunately, she passed away in September of 1996. I was always made to feel welcome and special when I visited after but eventually I had to move in...
This place is so cute and their tastings and so fun! Mary was the best host. We came away with an awesome bottle of gin and a great list of things to do on our weekend away. A must visit
