The flavor is good for most of the dishes, however the portion size to price ratio is not great. For example, tandoori chicken is $16.50, however you only get 4 small pieces of chicken with very little meat on them.
My family and I really enjoyed the food from AGs. Their naan was absolutely delicious and the fried corn was amazing! Their food is fresh and home made and their service is top tier! I highly recommend AGs Indian cuisine.
Brighton's very own Indian restaurant! An absolutely necessary and welcome addition to the culinary landscape of Brighton, their food is delightful and flavorful, the staff is welcoming and kind, and I frankly couldn't be happier. They will absolutely be a mainstay of mine!

The food and service at AG's is exceptional. I would recommend the garlic naan bread, fried corn and the Chicken Saag. I love Indian food and this restaurant by far is one of the best. It took a little while for my food to be prepared but thats because its made to order and its worth the wait. I would suggest calling ahead of time so your food is ready to go when you arrive. My family is excited for our next meal I carry out from AG's!

I don’t typically leave reviews, but it would be a disservice to the community to not warn that this is the worst butter chicken I’ve had. The curry (I ordered hot) was spicy, but it had no discernible flavor of tomato, cream, or spices. It had a somewhat overpowering taste of raw garlic and a weird sweetness. I’ve had Indian food semi regularly at various restaurants in Ann Arbor and Seattle, and I haven’t tasted anything like this. The owner is very nice, so I’m really disappointed that the food was a let down. Maybe the other dishes support the high reviews of this place?

A very small restaurant, no toilet to wash hands, minimum sitting like total 4 or 6 total people. It is owned by South Indian lady. For lunch you can have non veg tray for 14 bucks or you can have veggies for 13 bucks. Nanns were packet nans and non veg not good. Butter chicken is with sugar in it, typical South Indian recipe. Its very running liquidy with not much meat. Chicken Curry so so. Veggies OK. You get Channa and yellow Dal. Its just filler.

I want to love this place, it's the only indian place in the area but they've under delivered a few times. Pros chutney and pakora were great however butter chicken was watery and not creamy and naan was soggy and falling apart as well. Typically you seen jasmin/basmati rice however regular white rice was used which felt odd and sticky which led to dishes feeling off.. Lastly cost was higher than other places in lansing/ann arbor.

I spent just short of $80 (including tax) for the following:
Chicken 65 - $14.50 - about 2 servings in a container the size of a small burger. Good, but $7.25 each was outrageous.
Tandoori Chicken - $16.50 for a chicken leg and a thigh-so $8.25 each; good, but not great.
Palak Paneer - $16.00 - for a PINT (apparently dyed a weird green, consistency of broth, not like spinach, 5 tablespoon sized pieces of cheese) MAJOR disappointment.
Chicken Vindaloo $15.50 for a PINT (5 pieces of potato, 6 pieces of chicken in sauce) MAJOR disappointment.
Naan $3.00 for 4 pieces
With the quality and quantity of this meal, not to mention the RIDICULOUSLY HIGH price - I will NEVER be back.
