What a change in Big Boy Brighton!!Food was very good, our server was outstanding and the place wasn't trendy and cool but was clean and well taken care of. Give it a try!!

Ok, you ready for this? It was Clean! We had outstanding service even though we came close to closing time, we were taken care of very well. Now I don't usually boast too much about basic food, but the chicken was so, so good in my chicken parmigiana. Wow. They took the old menu, simplified it and now they can focus on quality. Big boy... You need to try them out if you haven't lately.

The breakfast buffet is up and running. At the Brighton location, the price is currently $15.99 for adults and $11.99 for senior citizens. I would highly recommend the breakfast buffet.I heard this Friday they will have a seafood buffet, too. ?

Yesterday Big Boy's surprised me. I bought a Groupon and went to the Brighton BB. I remember when BB was going downhill in metro Detroit, it became the last place I wanted to eat, so I didn’t. BB in Brighton was clean, bright, inviting, and well-bussed. They have a quite cordless Dyson vacuum cleaner. The floors were clean and spotless (this is important to me). The vacuum went into action as soon as a table’s customer(s) paid and left. The waitstaff was friendly and efficient, quick, and earning their tip. It’s easier to leave a good tip when the service is good and I had no complaints. My coffee cup was never below half, and the waitress asked each time before refilling it so I wasn’t surprised by a gulp of unexpected very hot coffee. My grandson brought his 3-year-old to the restaurant and the waitstaff was friendly and welcomed him. The food was very good and the sign said the meat is fresh and never frozen. Although the iced tea was instant not brewed. A Thumbs up for Brighton BB. The terminator wasn’t there but “I'll Be Back”.

???I'm a doordasher and this location is probably the biggest inconvenience I have to deal with. Either their tablet is turned off, or they haven't even considered starting the order. And to make things worse the staff is extremely rude and unprofessional about it. And instead of apologizing for the inconvenience they give me nasty attitude. The one waitress in particular.???

The food is good however, the manager here is bullying a server who is actually trying to do her job while letting other servers slack. Disappointing to see modern day management treat employees this way with it being as difficult as it is to find workers.

The employees are so very nice. Service may be a little slow when they are busy and short staffed, which is understandable.

MY WIFE & I were out this morning to do some errands. She was going to get breakfast at one of the fast-food restaurants, & I decided I would check to see what Big Boy was serving for breakfast. There were quite a few choices. I was pleased with the order, & the helping was quite good also. The staff was friendly & helpful, also.
We don’t have Big Boy close so when I had to travel I was looking forward to getting a Slim Jim! The ham was black. Not a little charred. Just entirely black. It’s awful they would purposely send this out as a Togo order since they know the person is leaving with the order and less likely to complain or return

Fruit flies invaded my meal. Manager told me that he would “ let management know “. Paid full price and I’m not sure I will even eat it! Would never willingly share my table or food with bugs

Anytime I find myself in the occasion where I’m near a Big Boy I have no choice but to stop in. The server was friendly and the food was good and fast. No complaints here. 5/5.

The staff was incredible! Food was honestly your average diner food. So definitely not bad but nothing to write home about. I was most impressed with how wonderful the waitresses were. Kindness in the serving industry is hard to find these days, and our waitress was so wonderful, so personable, so joyful! We will be coming back.
