We have been to Ciao Amici numerous times and have ialways enjoyed our dinners. On this occasion my wife and I enjoyed the Gorganzola salad which we payed a little extra above the standard salad. In fact we felt it was one of the best salads we have in a long time. For the entree my wife had the penne primavera which she enjoyed whereas I had the spaghetti bolognese with sausage. Although I enjoyed the dish I was greatly disappointed in the size of the serving as the portion of spaghetti was unbelievable small causing me to downgrade my rating by one star. The pieces of spaghetti that were present weren't even long enough to swirl on a spoon. For a fine dine this was extremely disappointing as everything else was very good.

Sigh. Let me sum it up this way. This is the only restaurant in all of Michigan my sweetheart and I will drive 550 miles from Nashville to Brighton to dine in one of our all-time favorite dining venues. Best in class service (thank you Kim! 🙂), menu and ambience. You will NOT be disappointed!

The food and service were great but they had a party of around 18 in the middle of the dining room and we could not hear our guests talk that we brought. We were disappointed that they didn't sit this party in a different spot in the restaurant possibly in basement or back of the restaurant so that other customers could enjoy their dinners.

On work trip to Brighton, MI, I was pleasantly surprised to find such an amazing restaurant. We sat at the bar for dinner service. The bartender, Lola, was amazing. She kept our glasses full and was very attentive to all our needs. The food was delicious and very fresh. The calamari (galamad) was tender and well breaded. Our meals were delicious. I had the penne with a cream sauce and a side of blackened shrimp. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the seasoning was spot on. The shrimps were massive as well. Between the atmosphere, fresh food and great service, this is definitely a place I would recommend to everyone. Brighton is lucky to have such an amazing establishment in their town.

Parking: Unfortunately they took out the parking lot next to the restaurant and are putting in a high rise building. We had a person with a walker with us, so we had to stop in the middle of the road to get her out of the car.
