My husband and I went to dinner here with my former college roommate and her boyfriend. The restaurant was very busy but we were seated right away. We had a wonderful waitress who had a fantastic, bubbly personality. We didn’t order appetizers but were served fantastic bread with oil and vinegar as well as butter which I requested. My friend made many modifications to her entree and it came out exactly as she wanted it and my husband ordered veal Marsala which he said was quite good however I ordered the butternut squash ravioli removing only the mushrooms and when I received it and took one bite I was shocked by the overwhelming amount of salt in the sauce. I tried to push the sauce off the ravioli to salvage them but it was no use. I ended up sending them back sadly. I was asked if I wanted then remade but I chose to order the gnocchi instead hoping they would be better. I took a bite and they were even saltier than the ravioli. I had my fellow diners try my food to make sure I wasn’t going crazy and they all agreed that my food was incredibly salty. I didn’t want to send it back again so I just had them wrap it up to take home hoping it will mellow out the next day. The bread was so good that I was shocked that I couldn’t eat the food I ordered. I have never sent anything back in a restaurant for being salty before in my life. We ordered a couple desserts : triple chocolate cake and lemon cake as these were both very good though the lemon cake was a little timid on the lemon flavor. I am giving it a 3 because 3 of us liked our food; I just had the bad luck of unfortunate ordering twice.

We had a fantastic night out with friends. The beef tips with mushrooms was so yummy. The calamari was good and the sauce was sweet. And tangy. The butternut squash ravioli had amazing flavor and the blue cheese sauce was the right amount of rich in flavor and not too heavy. The chicken marsala was average but still good. The bread served at the table was so good and hot. We had the chocolate cake and tiramisu and they were both sweet and perfect. The server was attentive and took great care of us. He did not make us feel rushed as we were there for almost 3 hours. The noise and chatter from the bar can get loud so on that side of the restaurant. We cannot wait to go back and try it again.

This was first time for my friends. They were very impressed with the ambience, food, service and prices. We had an outstanding waiter, Parker, who got our food to us in a timely manner, even though were we slow to order and then had to be quick at the end to get our dessert, box up our extras and pay the bill in order to get to our concert.

We ordered the calamari and minestrone as a starter and both were delicious. The dipping sauce for the calamari was incredible. We split the pasta con pollo which was very good. It's a good thing that we split the entree as it was such a large portion. We just moved to Brighton and I think we found our "go to " restaurant!

Always have great service here but the food is hit or miss. Every time I've eaten here I don't like my food, but my husband always gets the pasta davinci and enjoys it, and we enjoy the bruschetta. Tiramisu is just okay. For the price I would prefer to drive out to the little place in Howell, but nice to have good bruschetta in Brighton. The service is always impeccable and they make it right if there is something wrong

The up charges were a shock. Upcharge on the anchovies when there was already an upcharge on getting a special salad.
Extra sauce upcharge. ?????

The Eggplant Parm I had was really good. There were three NA beers available (good). And the house salad was also good. I enjoyed the food.

The service was OK, but slow. I can't blame the server, it seemed to be a staffing issue. It detracted from the experience.

The atmosphere was OK. But it did get quite loud as the place filled. And the framed portraits hanging on the walls were tacky.

For me, it's a once-a-year type place.

We celebrated our birthdays here! The experience of fine dining, but not overly fancy. The service was amazing and personal. The food was very good as well. We plan to return!

We enjoy the atmosphere and the food and the service. The only downside is the noise level. When it's busy, it's very loud and hard to have conversation without yelling. :)
