As always, the sausage, peppers and onions and the pasta bolognese were delicious but the food was very slow coming out of the kitchen; it was 30 minutes before we received a basket of bread. We sat at the bar and the bartender went back several times to check on our order and could only come out with apologies. Dinner took 1 hour 45 minutes for one appetizer and one meal.

Excellent experience and food as always. Not too loud. Reservations made and no wait for the table upon arrival.

Food, value excellent. Waiter had alot of tattoos and interrupted our conversation regularly. Normally, the wait staff is excellent. This Waiter needs retraining. The fine dining experience/caliber waiter at Ciao Amici is usually much better. Not this time

On Door Dash: The lasagna had a good sauce but was lacking in ricotta - mostly layers of noodles and sauce.

However the Pasta Con Pollo was sublime and perfect. Good soup as a side and the gorganzola salad was lovely too.

No dipping sauce with the bread sticks and I had heard it is amazing, but not included on my to go order.

Started with a great negroni znd followed up with Cesar salad and ravioli. Delicious and relatively inexpensive meal.

Small Italian restaurant with limited menu. Everyone in a group like their pasta but seafood dishes definitely had a fishy smell to him.

The best Italian food in Livingston County

We stopped by just for dessert, and while the presentation was nice, it honestly didn’t live up to the price. It looked nice, but the flavors didn’t quite hit the spot. Maybe the full dining experience is better, but based on the dessert alone, it felt a bit underwhelming.

We have been to Ciao Amici numerous times and have ialways enjoyed our dinners. On this occasion my wife and I enjoyed the Gorganzola salad which we payed a little extra above the standard salad. In fact we felt it was one of the best salads we have in a long time. For the entree my wife had the penne primavera which she enjoyed whereas I had the spaghetti bolognese with sausage. Although I enjoyed the dish I was greatly disappointed in the size of the serving as the portion of spaghetti was unbelievable small causing me to downgrade my rating by one star. The pieces of spaghetti that were present weren't even long enough to swirl on a spoon. For a fine dine this was extremely disappointing as everything else was very good.

I have wanted to go here for years, just hadn't had opportunity. Well I finally did. The staff is 👏 amazing. The bread and dipping sauce was also amazing. I had the Cesar salad was delicious with the calamari which was ok. Overall a great experience. Everyone else in my party loved what they had. Well done

My partner and I have had dinner here multiple times. The service is very good as well as the atmosphere, nice and clean, but to be completely honest the food is mediocre. The tomato sauce is way too sweet for an authentic pasta dish, coming from an Italian American who grew up eating fresh pasta every week and still does. On the other hand the noodles were cooked well. The eggplant I had ordered with my pasta was undercooked and rough, It should be soft and tender. The minestrone was mediocre and under portioned, did not taste fresh and looked and tasted like canned vegetables. The bread had way too much garlic as well. The only thing I enjoyed food wise was the sausage and peppers which were delicious. My favorite part of my dining experience was my beer lol.

Sigh. Let me sum it up this way. This is the only restaurant in all of Michigan my sweetheart and I will drive 550 miles from Nashville to Brighton to dine in one of our all-time favorite dining venues. Best in class service (thank you Kim! 🙂), menu and ambience. You will NOT be disappointed!

I was amazed at this place! The food was authentic! We had appetizers, main, and desserts and I was already full at appetizers! The atmosphere was just right, the servers wonderful, and would definitely go back when in town! Plus, the location is great, walk across the street to the little lake park area and fire pits for others. Night was just right!

Food quality is BAD. We used to go here as a place u could rely on a decent meal but the kitchen is not producing any consistency.
