I was there a few days ago in Brighton, waitress was great, did not care for the new menu. Price increases are pretty large. I did like the old menu better, more different choices. Some of my old favorites were gone, not sure I will return.
Extremely Disappointed Shrinkflation
I used to love Cracker Barrel, but after this visit, I don’t think I’ll be back. The portion sizes have shrunk drastically, while the prices have gone up. I paid $6.99 for the Cracker Barrel Cheese Curd Barrel Bites and only got 10 tiny curds—what a ripoff! My mom ordered the Cheddar Broccoli Chicken dinner special, and it was barely the size of a lunch portion but still priced as a full dinner.
To make things worse, our food was cold when it arrived. When we brought up our concerns, the waitress was completely unsympathetic, almost like she didn’t care at all. It feels like you can’t even complain anymore without being labeled a "Karen."
For the price we paid, we expected better service, hotter food, and reasonable portions. Cracker Barrel used to be a great place to eat, but with these changes, it’s just not worth it anymore. One star.

The place is great, and we waited 25 minutes for food. I watched people that came after us have bread and food at table way before we did and even finished eating before we got our food. Also, they changed my favorite chicken and dumplings, and that is not something they should do to me. He still loves this place but wishes it was better.

Prices at this location are higher than cracker barrel locations within a 30 mile radius, yet portions much smaller. We always order our favorite Momma's pancakes breakfast & this location serves the smallest pancakes of any location we dine at, yet they charge more

Portions getting smaller, prices going up. Chicken and dumplings sauce not thick anymore (basically water) and not much chicken.

Why can't you make your turkey & dressing dinner available everyday on your menu, not just a Thursday thing?? More soup choices would be nice. Bring back your corned beef dinners for St. Patricks Day.

We arrived at 7:50 am never saw a waitress for 20 minutes. ( it happens) but the place was empty. We told her we had two more coming could we get coffee to start off. She delivered coffee ( latte was Luke warm at best) and the cup was grossly sticky! our party showed up we waited another 20 minutes for the waitress to come back and get their drink order. Very slow service. Food arrived many items were missing, coffee empty and no napkins. All food was cold and eggs raw!!! We asked multiple times for the items that belong with our meals. Never saw her again until she delivered the bill. The bill I might add was close to 65.00… insane. Poor service, poor food and ridiculous price for what you get. This was our last visit to Cracker Barrel. Real bummer we used to Love this place.
Parking: Plenty of parking.

Didn't Eat, but shopped instead. Only one cashier, several people cashing out from the dining room, one lady buying lots of little thing from the store. Then there was me and my one item, taking for what felt like forever to check out.

I think the waitress was having a bad day. When we asked her about if there was jelly she tossed a bowl over. Butter went everywhere and the jelly was at the bottom and flew out. It seemed like it was an inconvenience to ask for condiments. The place was not busy. She did however, ask if she could refill our water. The only cashier that was there was not pleasant or patient. My pancakes were a bit over done.

Bacon was very under cooked. The hashbrown casserole seems like it has change. Not sure if it was a one off, but it wasn't like I remembered. However, everything else was good.
Dietary restrictions: The chicken and dumplings are a nice treat. White chicken meat, with steamed broccoli is my favorite.

Ordered chicken and rice along with steak tips...both were hot and delicious when they arrived at our table in less than 10 minutes! Victor D did a great job of taking care of our table's needs.
