Don Juan Mexican Restaurant - Brighton

I just want everyone to know. I have a horrible experience. I placed a carryout order. I had the Spanish speaking woman on the phone had her to repeat my order and we went over it twice. Then when I went to pick up my order half my order was not there. She was saying that I didn’t order this, and I didn’t order that we exchange words back-and-forth over the phone and then she hung up on me at the request of me speaking to a manager. She kept insisting that I didn’t order what I ordered And she was not trying to accommodate at all my company spins lots of money with this company on a weekly and sometimes daily basis and even after hours, I will not be making another trip to this restaurant anyone that’s ordering takeout and you get that Spanish speaking woman there who is very confrontational I would advise you to discontinue the order and not place it at all or either place it with someone there who speaks English, and this is at the Brighton location, very disappointed, and she was not trying to do anything to make the order right she just swore on a stack of Bibles that we did not order what we ordered

If you appreciate milder spicing on Mexican style food, then you should like this restaurant. Ask for hot sauce, if you want the heat.

The enchiladas are great, as well as the fajitas.
My drink was exceptionally delicious.

Good food at a good price. Service was great.

No very busy. Service was quick. Margaritas were pleasantly strong.

Ordered a carryout for mothers day to realize they forgot the toppings to both fajitas meals I ordered. No Bueno

The service was great, and the food came quickly! I had the lunch special number one chiliReño and chicken hardshell taco. The taco was very good, but chilireño was mediocre, even though it was filled with cheese. It came with a guacamole salad, which was good too.

Don Juana eat here ever again. 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon, my wife and I decided to eat here and we're promptly seated and asked for drink orders. 20 minutes pass and our server comes back to take our order. (Tacos al carbon, and bistek Mexicano) Literally 7-8 tables in there and it took 45 minutes to get our food. Nothing particularly wrong about the food other than it just wasn't good. The steak in my bistek was extremely stringy with big chunks of fat still attached and it tastes like they just poured a can of condensed tomato soup over it. Plates were scalding hot but good was not.

Had lunch there today. Ordered two beef tacos. Meat tasted old, and food was not hot. Salsa was way too spicy. When I asked for mild salsa, I got watered down tomato sauce. Mentioned this to waiter, he was unfazed. I guess he’s used to it. Didn’t offer a replacement for the nasty food either. Never coming back.

Second attempt to be happy with food - failed miserable. After my 2nd bite, sent the dish back. Even after talking to management, was still charged full price for meal.
Won't try for 3rd fail. I totally understand why there's only a handful of cars in the parking lot at any point.

Great food, great drinks, great service. Laura is great behind the bar. Burrito California is delish. Guacamole was definitely 🔥!!!

I was traveling with my boyfriend for a paintball game, and we stopped here before coming back home because they have really good reviews. The food and everything was amazing. It didn't even take long for anything to come out!!
