Absolutely 12/10 every time we order from NYPD Brighton. In addition to the food always being absolutely delicious, the owner is kind and generous. Great business and will continue to enjoy food from NYPD Brighton for years to come!

Had the NY style on my first visit here and it was really good. Tried the “Detroit” style tonight and while it was good, it wasn’t Detroit style as you can see in the photo. It’s Sicilian style. The guy working (possibly the owner) asked if I ordered the “Sicilian” and then I asked “you mean Detroit?” And he said yes that’s what it’s called here and Sicilian elsewhere. So yeah, a little disappointed for thinking I was getting a real Detroit style (cheesy edge and deeper dish unlike traditional Sicilian). Don’t get me wrong-it’s a decent pie, and the garlic knots are a 4 out of 5. They’d be a 5 out of 5 if they didn’t charge you for the marinara that most places include with the knots. $42 spent for the 2 items.

One of my all time favorite pizza places ? have so many memories of making trips to Ann Arbor with my brother to get a couple slices at NYPD; we were overjoyed when we saw there was one going in so close to us. This store is very clean, quick, and kind. I've ordered from there multiple times and every time I'm greeted kindly and taken care of right away. This time ordering, a very nice man offered me garlic knots on the house and I'm ecstatic he did because they're outta this world. Long story short, 10/10 recommend

I’ve been ordering pizza from this building since Soda pop Jrs first opened and I will say that this place had high expectations because of the pizza that was sold there previously and it does not compare on any level taste, quality and customer service ?

I had two people tell me about this place and i tried it and was disappointed and disgusted. The pizza is horrible and overpriced. I will never go there again and clearly won’t ever recommend this place.

We've ordered from this location several times and every time the service and food have been more then excellent. There was one time the wrong pizza was made (still great qualityand now i have lunches for the next few days). I would not have called the store except my wife is allergic to mushrooms. He made the original pizza we ordered with no hesitation. We will be back!

Got a pepporoni standard issue, breadsticks, and mozzarella sticks...the pizza wasn't up my alley but wife and kid thought it was pretty good, wont be going back for it but they both said the dough was really good and the highlight for what thats worth. Breadsticks were a dud, not disgusting or anything just again not our thing I think. The mozz sticks were straight fire, however the ranch was some of the worst I've had, swung by good ol white castle and got some marinara to remedy the issue and then we were in business...they have a homemade marinara in house that they rave about and push on ya, it's closer to tomato soup and made for like fancy spaghetti, not for my sticks (bread or mozzarella). I may be back but only for some mozz sticks if I have condiments on hand and maybe try more of the fried food but had to give at least a 4 star cause I love the variety on the menu, it's got everything I'd want just not a great version of it and the guy in there who I assume was the owner was a genuine nice guy.

This has become our go to pizza place. The food is always outstanding and they go out of their way to provide great customer service. Either of these are hard to find in our post Covid world. NYPD manages to deliver both consistently well.
$30 for burnt, soggy pizza. No thanks. You looked at this and said "yup l will give this to a paying customer" had you talked to me about it we could have worked it out but instead you didn't say a word so you wouldn't have to remake it. Well it saved you from making many pizzas in the future too as I just moved across the street and eat pizza all the time.

This was our first time and the pizza was ready within 20 minutes. We got the 12’ supreme and it was amazing. The ingredients on it were very fresh and full of flavor. We loved the thin crust on it! Hands down the best pizza in the Howell/Brighton area. Can’t wait to try some more!

Ordered here for the first time last week and it was SOOOOOO good. Reminds me of Tomato’s A Pizza in Farmington hills. I grew up with it and never have found anything comparable until now! I can’t wait to have it again . I love their outside the box toppings and speciality pizzas. Everything was so tasty
