Pita Way - Brighton Mediterranean

The lady working Wed. 10/29 @ 3:30pm was exceptional. I appreciate how courteous she was when I came in flustered and unsure what my friend wanted over the phone. She got me the best deal possible which was a huge relief. This location is a stark contrast from other fast food establishments in more ways than one.

7 years ago I gave this place 5 stars. This used to be one of my favorite places for lunch so this bad review hurts to write. The bowls keep getting smaller and smaller. Now it's basically all rice with a smidge of hummus at the same price. Today I was charged extra for another 2oz scoop. Then your stingy cheese. And the garlic used to be good paste, now it's watered down sauce in a squirt bottle.

Place is solid as it gets, food is fantastic, service is exceptional and all the food is fresh. What more can you ask for? Oh right, it's modestly priced. Not cheap, not expensive. About what you'd expect at Arby's, but the portions are really solid. They will let you try things, so explore and try something new. I recommend the Torshi. You'll be really pleased if you add something fresh and new :)

I was given such small portions of vegetables the bowl was 3/4 full. When I would ask for me they we stingy to the extreme compared to other pita ways. I will not be back.

Shanna is absolutely amazing! I currently just got my wisdom teeth out and she was very generous to make me a chicken & rice bowl that was very soft. Very amazing and sweet customer service.

Pretty disappointing gyro experience. Was excited when I entered and saw the Gyro meat on the spit, excited to get some sizzling toasted meat sliced off that. Ordered a Gyro sandwich, and they open up some container on the counter and pull out cold grey gyro meat. I go “you dont toast and shave it off the spit?” And they respond “its the same”

This is not the same, the sandwich was cold, flavorless, pita was stale. Ingredient section was a mess with all the toppings spilled into their neighboring containers.

I hope they stop the practice of serving gyro meat from a container, any Mediterranean restaurant in Europe would balk at the idea.

I eat pita way more than I’d care to admit to anyone that doesn’t work here, BUT the food has always been great. The staff was always great, but I have noticed a large amount of new employees through the store. The new employees kinda make me not want to ever come back, which sucks because I’ve been here at least once a week consistently for the last year and a half. After my experience tonight I’m not sure that I’ll return to this location, probably give my business and tips to the South Lyon location if any.

Tasty food. Ordered on Doordash. Paid $1.15 to add pickled turnips in my bowl and yet not a pickled turnip in sight. So that was a bit of a letdown.
