The Canopy Lounge recently welcomed our group of 20 plus neighbors, reserving space front of house for our annual Christmas party. The Manager Charles was highly professional, super attentive and a delight to work with making useful suggestions and accomodating requests. Service was provided by Ari who was friendly and attentive. The food also exceeded expections. I can certainly recommend the Canopy Lounge for individuals or parties. One should expect a reasonable value, pleasurable dining experience & feel like the valued customer that you certainly are.

To preface this review it was New Year's Eve at 6pm with a limited menu and Not a packed house. I will say the drinks here and the bar staff are spot on. Dinner was a disaster...cold overpriced food, orders fouled up. One never received. When they did bring it out in a to go box..at no charge...the fish was badly undercooked. The service was a bit sketchy...order wrong, forgotten requests, no followup on missed order (except one for 4 1/2 minutes 20 minutes later, no fish). I was Really hoping it was going to be a pleasant evening with friends. Now, we did go next door to the liquor store after to shop. The wives were asked how dinner was....they told him. He did give them a 15% off coupon hoping that we would come again. Hopefully the second try will be a Much better experience....I will update this review If it is....

The original Canopy was a Brighton institution for decades while the new Canopy combines a touch of the old classics with the very best of the new. We went for happy hour (fantastic food for a bargain price) and loved the people, the place, the food and the music. Feels like home.

What a hidden gem! Out of the way and attached to a liquor store, I was pleasantly surprised to find the atmosphere warm and “comfortably classy”, and live music added to the vibe. Solan took such great care of us, A+ customer service!!
Starting with a cocktail from the fall menu, I absolutely loved my Reese’s Old Fashioned! Every dish we tried was delicious. The pan seared walleye was served over gnocchi in a lemon dill sauce - probably the walleye we have ever had, and the gnocchi was fantastic. The center cut blue cheese steak was cooked perfectly, the blue cheese paired so well with the candied bacon. All of desserts were great - crème brûlée, caramel mascarpone cheesecake, and the tiramisu dip - yummy!

We enjoyed our experience, and will likely be back, but this was about the top end of what I'll be willing to spend for a casual dinner. The
Canopy Lounge was the perfect location for my sons family graduation dinner. We had around 27 people and reserved the private room in the back. The space was perfect size, tables set up and ready to do centerpieces. Plenty of room to do photo backdrop and set up special graduation pieces. The food was amazing!! Absolutely delicious!! We chose to have buffett style and was able to pick great choices out of the options. Service was very attentive and accomdating to whatever we needed. Server Steve and manager Charles were so sweet and helpful when planning as well as the night of! Canopy Lounge is a hidden treasure in Brighton!! We go often for date night dinner and I will suggest to anyone that needs a private room for an event it is perfect or for a great meal any time!!! Thank you again for being part of our sons Graduation memories!!
