This was the second time we tried the Reserve. The first time they had just opened, and it was just ok...gave them a pass. Our last experience was very underwhelming to say the least. One person in our party ordered a petit filet, medium. It came out purple in the center. Sent it back...it again came out very underdone. Third time was a charm I guess. Given that the Reserve bills itself as a high end steakhouse, I would think they could cook a steak properly. What made it worse was the offer to “make it right”. We were offered a free desert. Give me a break. Won't be going back and I would venture to guess that The Reserve won't be around for very much longer if this is the way they do business. Especially when there are so many more good restaurants in the area with more reasonable prices. The message here...save your money and go to a better restaurant in the area where they care about your business.

Great experience. Everyone from the hostess to the team of servers, managers, and all employees that I encountered were friendly and helpful. The food was top level and cooked perfectly. This place isn't in everyone's budget for everyday meals, but it's great to have a great steakhouse in Brighton.

My husband and I had dinner at The Reserve this afternoon. This is actually our 3rd time there. We went to the cocktail party before they opened. Went to The Reserve for New Years and yet again today. We had our $75 coupon to use. Cocktail party was full of people. New Years was very expensive..This afternoon was a big disappointment..Ordered Salmon. Small piece that it was. My husband ordered short ribs. So much fat that they had to do another order. Still enough fat that it became unknowable. Over $140 later. I would eat at Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse or Brighton Bar and Grill. I at least know that we will get a great dinner with a fair price.

The Reserve is a beautiful place and a needed addition to Brighton. It's crazy expensive but it's a nice night out and most of the food was decent. We decided to try The Reserve for our anniversary. We made reservations and were seated immediately. Here's what I didn't like about it it. I think it's arrogant not to provide salt and pepper on the table for people who enjoy it. No, your chef doesn't know exactly the amount of seasoning each person enjoys or requires. After covid, my taste buds are blunted and I need more salt and pepper to even taste some foods. No one came back to ask how our food was or if we needed anything so I was never able to ask for salt & pepper. We never saw our server again until it was time to clear the plates. As a former food server, that's a huge fail. I had to take my dinner home to reheat it and finally enjoy it the next day. The second thing I didn't like is the way they have two different servers playing tag team. Its pointless and confusing. It's also a good way to drop the ball completely which is what happened in our case. The third thing was the hearty recommendation for the cheesecake; calling it the best around. It was mealy and over-baked and we couldn't eat it. We took it home but ended up pitching it. This is the first restaurant in history where I had to pay for mediocre, uninspiring bread. It's also the first time in my life I was served French Onion Soup with NO CHEESE. That was a waste of money and again, no one came to check if it was ok or I would've sent it back. It's such a beautiful place and Brighton very much needed a fine dining restaurant. I hope The Reserve succeeds wildly, but it'll be quite awhile before we go back. There's nothing like spending $250 for a meal plus $50 tip to whomever and not seeing your server(s) most of the night and being dissatisfied with much of your meal. Everything could've been resolved perfectly if we only had seen our server once in a while but they had better things to do, apparently.

Angelica and Steph were our servers for our 35th wedding anniversary. They did an amazing job. We were treated like their only customers. Their level of professionalism is unsurpassed. The background music was very nice and varied. I enjoyed listening to it.We couldn’t have chosen a better place for this. Brighton has needed a steak house like this since the original Canopy closed at least 25 years ago or more. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, great wine, great view out the windows to Main Street.I highly recommend this restaurant. The service was perfect.

We enjoyed an evening with dear friends. Sat in bar area, high top. Service from moment of arrival, till we left was spot on. Politeness was much appreciated. We dont go out often for quality of food, we go for service 1st. Getting to the quality, Reserve is doing it right. From the seafoodTower to the chateau briande (bad spelling) and all between, augrautin tates - maze balls. Tgey are buying from great sources and the pricing is commensurate with quality. Keep it up and we will keep coning back.. The great service cant be overstated.

Our first time here. Food was absolutely fantastic. Had the petite fillet, med rare. Cooked perfectly. Oysters fresh. Fried Brussel sprouts were delicious. And the bread basket. At these prices the bread should have been free. Our servers, Olivia and Meagan were so nice. I feel this was a good value and will definitely be back. Can’t wait until summer to have a few martinis on the patio.

The food was rich to the nth degree, and the service was impeccable. It was an interesting concept of "roaming service", so we never waited for a drink because multiple people were keeping an eye out for our needs. Make a note: if you actually have room for dessert and it's more than just one person, one dessert will be sufficient. Made the "mistake" of ordering two desserts. We came home with the equivalent of one whole dessert. The entire experience was well worth the cost.

Had an issue with being charged too much for a meal. Could have been handled a little bit better as the person was made to feel bad for pointing out the difference. But all in all the food was amazing.

Our dinner was excellent last night. We got to try the A5 wagyu steaks that are new to the menu.... highly recommended to anyone who interested in trying it.. we've had this type of steak at other establishments and The Reserve didn't disappoint in any way.. it was excellent.. 10 Thumbs up for us..

We arrived 5 minutes before our reservation and were immediately seated. Our servers Christine and Cailah were outstanding. They exceeded my expectations the entire night. Their knowledge of the menu and suggestions were spot on! The food was served in a timely manner, and the kitchen absolutely understands what medium-rare is!! I will be back, and can't wait!

Absolutely loved the cowboy steak and the beef wellington bites. Might be my favorite appetizer anywhere

My husband and I went to The Reserve for an anniversary dinner . We have pretty high expectations for both food and service. The food was amazing! I'll pay top dollar all day long for great food. The staff was very friendly and attentive, maybe a bit too attentive. I could have done with fewer interruptions with our eating and talking. A few times we were having a nice moment together and deep into conversations only to be interrupted to fill my water glass that was only missing an inch of water. Overall, I was very pleased with the whole experience and we will be back.

Beautiful restaurant, very upscale and located in the heart of downtown Brighton. While we weren't there for the Happy Hour, we did arrive early for dinner. The bar area was packed, and obviously a popular place to visit in the late afternoon.
