The Fave’s French Press Cafe

Had an appointment with a urologist on Monday 10/13 inside the Genoa medical building where this place is located. Stopped in here after to get a coffee & a muffin. The very young woman who looked fresh out of HS was working behind the counter. She was heavily involved with her phone sitting in a stool like a lot of young people are. But she stood up & asked if she could help me. And I said, yes a water, medium coffee, a banana nut muffin please. She said, your coffee will be over there at the counter. A woman who looked a lot like her (assuming her mother) girlfriend my coffee for me. I then noticed they forgot my water. While I was standing there waiting I noticed a hair tie with hair stuck in it just sitting there on the counter right in front of me. I told her about it & she said, oh someone must’ve left it. I said, well that’s actually gross. She forgot my muffin so I had to ask for it because she sat down & went right back to her phone. Then I noticed piece of hair stuck to my straw after I opened it. I didn’t want to get upset about it because that actually could have fallen off my head since I do have long hair. I did ask for another water tho. I then go to sit down at the tables there & noticed some of the tables were very dirty. The one directly next to me had crumbs all over the table & chair. This place is disgusting. I saw the other woman working mostly in the back while her “likely” daughter just sitting there on her phone. I’ll never go back in there again.

Recently tried to visit. A sign on the door says moved close by but we could not see any evidence of this business at the new address mentioned on the sign.

They are always so happy and friendly. Never had a bad drink or food item. Today their Blue Lagoon plant-based energy drink and Chicken Caesar Wrap is amazing. The drink tastes as good as a slurpee! Love they have the little shop where I have have several Dr’s at.

I have been going here for months and it used to be my absolute favorite place to get coffee and to eat. I went in today and was surprised by the eye roll that I was greeted with from the lady behind the counter. She asked me what I wanted and I told her a hot chocolate with no whip and then began to ask for a decaf coffee (and I got a little side tracked… which I do often from brain injury) and I told her oh shoot, the girl that usually works here knows what I get… and then she sternly and firmly with aggression piped off with its her and her sister which are the usual girls. I informed her with that kind of attitude I will go elsewhere. I don’t know why she had such an attitude. I have never experienced that from this place before.

Great little spot tucked away by The Well. Excellent drinks and food. Oat milk latte 10/10!!!! Quiet, comfortable kid friendly.

Ordered a black, hot drip coffee, but was room temp when I received my order. Was kind of bummed out being my first visit!

This coffee shop is excellent. The baristas are friendly and welcoming, and the shop is clean and comfortable. The coffee is amazing! I highly recommend it!

The absolute best and delicious food and drinks! Prompt service every time! The owners are very personable, highly recommend!! You won't be disappointed.

Food was phenomenal, decent price especially for being so fresh (try the caramel apple energy drink and maple syrup latte as-well as the burritos and avocado toast). Didn’t wait long but they had tic tac toe to play while our orders were finished up. The girls behind the counter were really nice too.

I come here every once in a while when I'm in town for work and grab a latte and sometimes a baked good before heading back on the road. Everyone is always friendly and inviting and the service is quick. A hidden gem!
