Went for a quick appetizer after a day of side by sideing. Ordered the poppers which were as expected but when they were brought to our table he said poppers for 4, good luck. We had lunch earlier and just wanted an appetizer. A weird statement from any restautant.

There's not much eye appeal to entrance, ramp available, leaning slightly but solid! Inside has good Ole boy look, worn but functional and fun! Has indoor and outdoor seating. Beautiful view of water

Food that came out correctly was just okay, but the service ruined the experience. Our server repeatedly messed up orders and was extremely rude when we tried to correct things. It took her three attempts to get one simple drink right, which was frustrating. The blonde bartender did a decent job, but the dark-haired bartender ignored people in our group and prioritized serving new arrivals instead. Some of our food didn’t even arrive until we were ready to leave, and one order was canceled altogether because it was so late. This place has potential to be good, but the poor service made it a disappointment. I do not recommend it.

This is a really cool place, but the 2 times I have been here the service has been really bad. Idk if I will go back again. The food was good, but it took forever to get a drink, and the bar tender didn't even know who ordered the food when she brought it to us. She had to ask who's it was. Multiple food orders were wrong, (we had a bigger crowd both times we have been there) and getting it right took forever. Its sad because it is a really nice place with a lot of potential.

Went there today and the bartender ignored us walked by us like we were not there we sat there for at least 20 minutes and she was not busy wow lost us and we blow alot of money

I stopped in to check out this place after a lengthy travel. By the time I got there the kitchen was closed. So I ordered a beer. The bartender Stephanie came with my beer and told me they would open the kitchen for me so I could eat since I was hungry. I asked what they were known for. I ordered the fish tacos and a side of fries. I tell you what the fish tacos made with white fish were some of the best I've ate. The fries were like the famous Rally's seasoned fries that everyone likes. Staff and Patrons made me feel right at home. Men's room is clean and the bar has a few decks overlooking Lake superior. Overall I am glad I chose Pickles Bar-n-Grill. Next time im in the U.P. I'll be back here again next time i travel from central Nebraska.
