Normally this place is great, but last 2 times I've been here, this place is starting to go down hill. We had a server named Amaya; she was nice but that's about it, she forgot the coffee creamer, brought us stuff that wasn't ours *in the 2 times we actually did see her, once to take our order once for our bill, which we had to track her down after 45min of not seeing her for our said bill* when food came eventually, my whole breakfast was not even cooked right. How do you fk up eggs? And white toast and hash browns? The eggs weren't done, toast was cold *wouldn't even melt the butter* hash browns were white lol get up to the counter and the girl asked how was everything? I said bad, she said did the Waitress come back to help, I said nope I had to find her to ask for the bill. She said o I'll take 10% off your bill. I wasn't looking for anything special, but unless I have the bald server that is outstanding every single time, I won't be back anytime soon.

Appreciate the Senior Citizen Menu and puch cards for a future purchase...especially like their salmon dinner (not on the menu, but you can have if you ask for it). Coffee is sometimes bitter though.

The food is worse than McDonald's. The fries aren't crispy, almost soggy.
The Big Boy burger has two tiny flat, overcooked patties. The sauce is tasteless.
The prices end up being $15-20 per person, with coke and a tip.
Too bad, I really like this big boy. Leaving a bad review because they refused to give my daughter her $1.00 back that got eaten in their vending machine. I understand they are owned by a third party but that does not matter. So give me the dollar and YOU get it back from the vending company. Why would you make your 3-times-a-week customer bend over backwards to get $1 back from a third party vending company. Gimme a break. And of course, not only do they not return the dollar but they have to all argue and throw a white trash fit about it.

I called the restaurant to make sure they had the sliders on the menu and they said that they did.So hubby and I was looking forward to having them for dinner tonight 08/01/2024 But when we were ready to order they informed us that they ran out of the buns so we would have to choose something else from the menu,really disappointed.

Yes, Big Boy is still around and yes Big Boy is still good. There are (as of 2024) 55 Big Boys remaining with 84% being in Michigan.
I visit the Brooklyn, Michigan Big Boy when I am in the area. I get good breakfasts with good service at a good price.
