Our youngest Nova learned to ride her bike without training wheels today, which caused us to celebrate her and her new accomplishments and overcoming fear, doubt, stress, anxiety etc.. a few tears were shed along with some excuses but nothing worth having comes without some kind of fight and the was an internal battle that she had wanted to accomplish and overcame some of that fear. Well what better place to celebrate the our accomplishments big and small. Thanks Swiss Swirl

This place reminds me of my childhood. I used to walk here with my grandma and visit here after my little league softball games. I have taken my own children here several times as well as my nieces and nephews. It is a great local spot for delicious ice cream favorites.

It's definitely worth the drive for us. We live in Lansing, so it was a good 45+ minutes away. We all got soft serve ice cream. They, of course, have the traditional vanilla, chocolate, and twist. But they also have a "flavor of the week", this week was salted caramel and green apple. My husband got those in twist form. We ordered mediums for us and the kids size for my girls. My husband and I could have gotten the kids size. The portions were huge. I felt that...
