I don’t usually go out of my way to write reviews, but I felt compelled to leave one for this place. The food here is so much better than that found at a little bar in Brown City has any right to be. This place is legit. Go support this business—you won’t be disappointed.

Nothing was open New Years Day, except the Whiskey Jar, my daughter and I decided to give it a try and got take out. She order plain Mac ‘n Cheese ($8) and I ordered BBQ Pulled Pork Mac ‘n Cheese ($12). Food was really good! Just bummed because each portion size was the same amount I might feed my toddler! Back to the kitchen I go, since we are both still hungry lmao

Heard this place has the best French fries. Wouldn't know! We waited 1/2 hour for our order to be taken, then 1 1/2 hour later we still had no food. We ended up paying for our drinks and leaving. This was a Thursday evening. Granted the place was busy and only two people working but neither of them came back to ask if we needed another drink nor would they make eye contact. When we went up to pay for drinks one of the employees said the cook could have our food out in 3 minutes, we weren't waiting any longer. Not a good experience. They had the music up so loud you couldn't hear yourself think. I understand the owner is fantastic and the food is great but we will probably not return.
The barbecue here is out of this world. highly recommend. We came there as a band to play as a band TORCH. we're greatly impressed with the service and the food..

This little place is already taking off in the short time it has been open. We walked in and the friendly staff, Star and Roz greeted us with welcome smiles. The owner, Toni, delivered the food herself and stayed to chat. We ordered cheese balls,which were excellent. I had the grilled chicken wrap, which was so full that I had to eat it with a fork. My husband is a very harsh critic when it comes to burgers, but he said the bourbon burger was one of the best burgers he has ever had.

My hubby, daughter and I stopped in try the burgers we’ve been hearing people rave about. I had the bourbon burger and it didn’t disappoint! Hubby had the build your own and enjoyed it as well. The burgers were the best bar burgers we’ve had in along time. As for the daughter she had the chicken quesadilla, she said it was delicious and then ate the whole thing so you know it was good. We’ll definitely be back again!
