I don’t usually go out of my way to write reviews, but I felt compelled to leave one for this place. The food here is so much better than that found at a little bar in Brown City has any right to be. This place is legit. Go support this business—you won’t be disappointed.
Nothing was open New Years Day, except the Whiskey Jar, my daughter and I decided to give it a try and got take out. She order plain Mac ‘n Cheese ($8) and I ordered BBQ Pulled Pork Mac ‘n Cheese ($12). Food was really good! Just bummed because each portion size was the same amount I might feed my toddler! Back to the kitchen I go, since we are both still hungry lmao
This little place is already taking off in the short time it has been open. We walked in and the friendly staff, Star and Roz greeted us with welcome smiles. The owner, Toni, delivered the food herself and stayed to chat. We ordered cheese balls,which were excellent. I had the grilled chicken wrap, which was so full that I had to eat it with a fork. My husband is a very harsh critic when it comes to burgers, but he said the bourbon burger was one of the best burgers he has ever...
