Fifteen-2-Twelve by Evelyn Mae's BBQ

1.5 hour wait, rotten food served. We didn't eat anything. The place only had 4 customers. 45 minutes in the waiter comes out to tell me why my iced tea was taking so long... it was because the lids didn't have holes in them for the straw. Then he asked if he could bring me a cup without a lid, I said yes, then he proceeded to bring me a water. Finally got food at an hour and half and it smelled putrid enough to burn your nose. I don't know why we paid but we did and left starving and disappointed. So much for a night out with the husband and kid. So happy we drove 40 minutes to this place.

Friendly service & Amazing Food for a reasonable price. Definitely coming back!

As first timers, we’re adding this place to our favorite list. The food was top notch. The staff felt like old friends. We asked for recommendations, and they offered to make a sampler platter and they knocked it out of the park. Everything exceed our expectations. Don’t forget to try their banana pudding. It’s to die for.

Excellent food; melt in your mouth pulled pork and brisket. Owner and staff were polite and professional. Would love to come back again. Thank you from an old Army veteran

We told the server that it was our first time and asked for recommendations. He made us a sampler tray and everything was unreal-good. Such amazing hospitality with genuine pride in their craft. We’ll definitely be back.

Food was enjoyable at this place. However the service was not good at all. Came in and they were missing almost every food item we wanted to order. After that, we received the food but we had to ask for both silverware, plates and napkins so we could eat. Enjoyed the food, and then waited 30mins for the check (even though the restaurant was not busy at the time). Good takeout place but would not recommend going in person.

Lockhart Texas has nothing over this place. Best barbecue in the area. Anton, owner and cook, is very personable. I will be taking family and friends here in the future.

Great place to eat. The drinks are always flowing, the food is homecooked, the meat is marinated and slowly grilled/smoked. The outside patio is a great place to sit with your dog in the evening. Service is always quick and friendly. Love going for food and leaving with new friends.

I just ordered 2 full racks of ribs and rib tips to take home for my family. Holy moly was it spot on. The house made BBQ complimented the smoked ribs perfectly. The flavors are amazing. The greens were out of this world. I highly recommend to support this local gem. The cost of the food was no different than feeding a family at McDonalds in my opinion. That’s rare with food pricing these days AND we have leftovers. Can’t wait to go back and try the Bang Bang Shrimp and the Brisket sandwhich. I read some of the bad reviews and those people are out of their minds. Guess ya can’t please everyone. I’m hooked!!!
