Hands down the BEST sub shop in the Buchanan-Niles area, probably even the whole Michiana area!
This hidden gem in downtown Buchanan is family-owned and operated. The bread (white and wheat) is made fresh daily. In addition to fresh, made-to-order subs, Gary Z's has salads, daily soup, chili, and a "sub of the day". During the summer months, they have some of the best chicken salad I've ever had. If you go often enough, Mariah will probably even remember your order!

Parking: If it's busy downtown it may be difficult to find parking in front of the shop

I can’t believe I’ve never left a review for our Favorite sub shop! You couldn’t find a better place to do business.. they do mean business when it comes to their sandwiches.. we love them. It’s about to be soup season soon and I’ve got something to look forward to besides being cold. Family owned and operated.
