We recently visited Hickory Creek Winery with a group of 30, and the experience was great! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to accommodate our large group. They graciously provided us with their private tasting room, which created the perfect setting for a relaxed and intimate wine tasting experience. For many in our group, this was their first time attending a wine tasting, and the team at Hickory Creek made it memorable.

I had a girls trip that included three wineries and hickory creek winery was our first stop. We had the pleasure of meeting Adam and Jeffrey on our visit here. Adam had us set up in the back with the barrels and showed us 5 different wines and explained the process in making each wine. I am not a huge wine drinker, but I was very pleased how smooth each wine was. Adam answered all of our questions as to why each wine had a certain flavor. They also had pizzas available for purchase to eat along with your wine (the winery works with a local pizza shop). This was hands down our favorite winery stop of the day.

We did a tasting with Adam, the owner, and it was amazing! He told us a lot about each wine and was super helpful and fun. Would definitely recommend a stop here and their outdoor area is adorable.

The traminette is such a lovely wine - never had this before! Bought a bottle to take home to share with family and friends. Must stop for a date night, group trip, everything in between!

Had my bachelorette party here for one of our winery stops. It was our first and it spoiled us. We had the owner, Adam, conducting our tasting and he and the other staff members were so kind, funny and welcoming. He even carried all of the wine my group bought to our car for us despite us being parked in the back corner of the parking lot. I will make this place a stop every time I come out this way. There was not a single wine in the tasting I didn’t like.

Adam conducted out wine tasting and was fabulous and each wine we tried was amazing. They all had such great balance to them.
Noting that this place is consistently excellent. Large group wine tastings are such a good option for those local and not from the area. (I would make a reservation for groups over six people to ensure a spot.) The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. There are charcuterie boards and pizza options for those who want a quick bite. Worth the drive from wherever you are coming from.

This place is a gem! Within our group of 9 we had varying levels of experience with wine tasting and different wine preferences. The owner Adam led our tasting - he did a phenomenal job getting to know our group and tailoring the experience to what each one of us would enjoy. This was my Mom’s first tasting and he hooked her up with some slightly sweeter wines she really enjoyed. They make many different types of wines, and there is really something for everyone. Adam is knowledgeable and kind, and we all learned something new. It was such a fun time!
