I was sat at a booth in the bar area as a single diner. The host was kind and I was quick to be seated, the restaurant wasn’t very busy at all. Most tables already had their food or orders taken, and multiple were getting ready to leave. I noticed multiple other people arriving, being sat, and having a server at their table in 2 minutes or less. I sat in my booth waiting for 10 minutes before waving the host down and asking where my server was, and he said he would go grab them. I then noticed him speaking with a table of servers who were sitting down eating, while the bartender went to attend to another booth with two men that had JUST been sat in the bar area right behind where I was sitting. I got up and left.
I understand busy times, being shortstaffed, and staff requiring a break. However, to sit waiting to even get a water for 10 minutes with NO servers even acknowledging I was there was insulting, especially seeing as the restaurant wasn’t not remotely busy. I rarely give bad reviews, and I have never had an issue at this location previously, but I’m gonna go ahead and stick with one of the other area options from now on. This experience left a very bad taste in my mouth.

I’m giving it a 3 star because we had a good waitress, the environment was clean and friendly plus my 🍹 was nice. My daughter and I ordered the beef nachos and the presentation was trash, literally awful. Looked like a 5 year old prepared our meal, I was actually shocked they sent it out the kitchen. I wish I would’ve taken a picture…😒

I left because no one said a word to me for ten minutes and there were less than ten people in the restaurant. I worked at an applebee's, for ten years and to have a hostess and servers stare at you and not even offer to get you a drink is beyond wild to me. I called the restaurant while i was still in the parking lot for the manager To say we've been looking for you.I sat in the parking lot for 5 mins and no one came near the door. They did offer for me to come back and she said, be spoiled, but at this point, why would I come back? It was the first time Ive ever been to that applebess and I'll never go back. Signed, I'm still hungry

Took a long time to have our order taken... pasta was overcooked and cold by the time food was delivered to the table.
If you're a group of people, you'll get decent service. If you're there alone you can forget good service. The food isn't bad but definitely wasn't brought straight out when done. There are no options for appetizers if you're alone unless you want too much. And, of course, they're not usually good reheated. Single dessert options aren't much better, not that my waitress offered any to me.... she did offer dessert to the group next to me, though. Basically, if you're out relaxing and dining alone and want good service, this is not a good place to go. Don't expect anything more than the bare minimum here

Terrible I don’t know why after 5 years of not eating here we bothered tonight. The manager asked how everything was so we informed her our appetizer was cold so she gave us a $10 to use next time only instead of taking the app off the bill or letting us use it this time. We watched our server sit and ignore us the whole time and when we asked for another beer she waited to bring it u til we were done eating. Then proceeded to spend 10 more minutes bringing the bill. Food wasn’t fantastic either. We left the $10 off on the table because we won’t be back. Waste of $100!!

It was one of the most horrible dining experiences I have had to date. After placing our order, i changed my order. The waitress said it would come out after their orders, OK, that's fine. Their first mess up was waiting until my food was done to bring out my friends food. One of them had a nacho that hardly had any meat on it, and the meat that was there was hard. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. I told her all I want on it is lettuce tomato and pickle. Why did my sandwich have no lettuce but it dis have bacon. Normally that's not a problem right? Well the thing is I don't eat bacon. I don't eat pork at all. She tried to assuage me by telling that I'm not being charged for the bacon. But she jus didn't understand that I didn't want it in the first place.

Don’t ever go to the Applebee’s in Burton it has terrible customer service cold food that supposed to be hot food is supposed to be cold is hot and smashed and portion size was terrible. I’m still hungry and I normally don’t eat very much at all. I have been to Applebee’s all around Michigan traveling for my son, Support and this was by the worst customer service I’ve ever had Applebee’s before in my life. It’s sad too because it’s the closest one to me now I’m gonna have to drive Just to go to Applebee’s it’s ridiculous.
Kid-friendliness: I ordered kids meals, and I’ve been told in the past by other Applebee’s that they come with a drink, though the lady that answered the phone, Emily said that they did not come with drinks and wanted to continue to argue with me about it. She asked a coworker finally after to say that she was right three times and they said yes it does come with the kids meals then she said it was $.99, but the bill was five dollars more which did not make sense so I just said I don’t want the drinks. We paid $50 for our food and we are completely dissatisfied cold Food, smashed hot salad. Bad customer service you don’t ever argue with a customer that was ridiculous

Our sever, Sara, was very hardworking and attentive during our visit as well as the other staff..with an exception of the manager by the name of Leslie. So if I could give less than 1 star regarding the manager, I would. My mother and I arrived for dinner and waited at the host station for a while. We watched the servers and bartender working hard as well as the host away from station. All the while we are standing there to be greeted and waiting to be seated, the manager, Leslie, sat in a booth directly across from the bar facing the host station. Not once did she acknowledge us, even though she saw us standing there. And this isn’t the first time this has happened. I’ve seen this very same manager do this before to other customers when I’ve dined here. Watching her sit in that corner booth while the staff overworked running around super busy. Leslie definitely does not demonstrate team work and doesn’t seem to really care. Do better!
