Great service, but that was where the positives ended. I have been to BJ's a few times over the years but generally wasn't very impressed. Someone was telling me they redid the menu and it was really good so I decided to give it another chance. I ordered a chef salad and a beer and it was 18.50 before tip. If the salad would have been good, I would have been fine with that. Unfortunately about half of the lettuce in the salad was brown and looked past it's date, there weren't many cucumbers or tomatoes and there wasn't much dressing. The meat and cheese were fine, but it was a pretty small salad and the quality was very underwhelming. Honestly I've had much better salads at small coney Islands, for considerably cheaper. The bartender was great. She was very friendly, very quick to greet me, checked in several times and provided excellent service ( I had ordered takeout and just drank a beer while waiting.)

We go there 2 or 3 times a month. Usually have great food and service. However, we were there last Sunday (Cinco De Mio); they didn't have their usual menu, just Mexican food. Neither of you us were very hungry so just ordered a burrito and wanted to split it. The server asked us if we wanted some tortilla chips on the side, which we agreed to. She came back a few minutes later and said that the cook refused to give them to us. Said if we wanted them, then we could order nachos. Not a nice way to treat regular patrons. ?

Played in their Monday night euchre tournament had a great time. Actually it was the first time I’ve ever been in that bar had a burger too. It was delicious.

We went there last night to try their new menu, my husband and me both ordered a sandwich that came with fries. we asked for Cajun seasoning on them. when we got our bill we were charged an additional $3.5 each for cajun seasoning. we asked the waitress why we were charged that much for seasoning and asked to talk to a manager. She said the only person there we could talk to was the cook. she came back and said the cook would not come out to talk to us and there was nothing we could do but call back in the morning when management would be there. I called this morning and managers/owners were not in. we have been regulars there but are now unsure that we will go back after this experience.

Friendly and prompt wait staff, lively crowd with an equal split of male and female patrons of all ages -- 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, & 70s -- and everyone got along fine with no noticeable ageism from either end of the spectrum. I almost forgot the very accessible, dollar -a-game pool table.
Wheelchair accessibility: The Thursday night I was there I walked up a metal ramp to a Please-Use-Other-Door I didn't try, however, I'm confident the staff will gladly open the door for anyone who knocks.
