My husband loves this place (he gets the catfish dinner with greens and sweet potatoes), so I thought that I'd try it out. Amazing! I was feeling sick after a blood draw, and the lady at the counter was so welcoming and nice to me, answering all my questions and giving recommendations. I got the cod dinner with fries and macaroni and cheese, and I devoured it all! Definitely going back there again.

I ordered the spaghetti dinner with cabbage as both sides. The spaghetti was great but the cabbage has no flavor at all. Taste like it was cooked in vinegar and water but no seasoning at all.

Food was great and so we're the staff. It's more of a takeout venue but pleasant. I would highly recommend the catfish.

My last take out was terrible. I ordered the orange roughy dinner with fries and okra and everything tasted like old grease. The fish was overcooked and beer battered, apparently now cornmeal has to be requested!?! I didn't even call back to complain as this is my second bad experience in a row about a year apart. I won't be returning.

I ordered a polish sausage dinner and a peach cobbler. Guess what I didn’t receive the peach cobbler but the policy is they’re not responsible once you leave. I didn’t think I placed a complicated order but you double knotted the bag so how can I check my order before I leave? 1st and last time trying I only went for the peach cobbler

The food is very good. My issue is the professionalism of the staff. I called in an order and they hung up on me. I called again not even a greeting but a simple "please place your order" after a loud hello and a tone that spoke as if I was a pest and trying to hurry me off the phone and kept interruptimg me as I'm trying to place my order. Once i arrived to the resturant and I'm greeted by the cashier who then simply asked "did you place a to go order?" And her and her coworkers are laughing and joking around when i am trying to find out how much my order was. I do believe the staff needs proper training in professional conduct especially via phone. Good food will not be enough to keep a customer if service is lacking.

I got a pork chop and a bone, not a 2pc plus the gravy tastes like raw flour! I had to pay extra to put my greens in a separate container and they still put my dressing with the greens so it was super wet! I was given child size portions and then I had to take my baby spaghetti back because it was hard AF and it had rice in it like they used the same spoon ?? NEVER AGAIN! RUN RUN RUN and make your stuff at home!

I didn't order. They are short staffed. When I walked in the restaurant it was 6:30 one hour before closing. I was told we are only serving Ribs & rib tips. I went for fish ??, and do not eat pork. Someone sitting at the table said"it's after 6:00. I wasn't sure what point of the person was trying to make other than if you want fish to get here before 6 o'clock. The women were polite and suggested I call to place an order ahead of time. I left.
