Pleasantly surprised with our visit to Empire Wok. I read all the positive reviews and, since we were in the area, we decided to check it out. The food was flavorful and hot, continually refilled during our visit. The price was comparable to other Asian buffets and we'll definitely return.

beef fried rice was soft, flavorful, and they give you lots of meat. chicken on a stick was nicely seasoned. general tso's chicken had a nice spice to it. crab rangoons had lots of filling and a good crunch. will be ordering again.

The sushi and rolls have far too much rice, which I really dislike. The food overall is okay, but nothing special.
The service is consistently bad. The staff is unfriendly every time we visit. What bothers me the most is that they take the receipt with the tip written on it before we leave the table, which feels rude and uncomfortable. This has happened many times, not just once.
That said, among the Chinese buffets in this area, this place is still the best option, which is why we come here occasionally despite the poor service.

Family ( 9 of us ) went and they put us in a room in the back corner, which was fine. My dad uses a walker and one of the employees was pushing a cart and just cut him off. Then, my brother ( in a wheelchair ) was leaving the room and another employee, decided to squeeze through the same door as they were going out. Food wasn’t fantastic either. Didn’t have a choice here on recommendation. NONE

Went here for a christmas party in the private room today we booked for about 20 people. And they knew a month ahead. So not short notice. I said we would need it 1pm-4pm. They said okay. We'll we get there, and are sat in the private room with another group. Too small. Not enough space for that many people. Then that party left and we felt rushed as they tried sitting more people in the private room we reserved. The other family felt like they were intruding we kept having random customers walking in on us. It was only 2pm mind you. We still had gifts to exchange, and just enjoy seeing my family that we only see this 1 time of year because of distance. Also, this wasnt extended family. This is my father. My brothers and sisters. And my mother in law! We have a hard time finding places to accommodate last minute so we book in advance. I will never book heterozygous again. Awful waitress, 😖 she was rude, and they were pushing us out the door.

Took my mom to eat here and the waitress was very rude, we ran out of drinks she never came and asked us if we wanted anything and we tried to get her attention and she ignored us for the most part. Definitely not worth $40 for two people to eat.
