I generally love hungry Howie's, but today I'm giving one star in service and atmosphere at a specific location 2466 S Center Rd. I applied here online, I'm currently looking for a job I called on April 2 25, I was put on hold for 10 minutes and I remained confused on if they had forgot about the call being on hold so I called 2 more times, I finally got an answer and when I did I stated that I was following up on my application the young girl/manager or so called manager told me I called to many times and said she'd forward it to the next applicant, wasn't interested and hung up. I drove to this location April 5 25 12:40pm and asked if she was the one I talked to over the phone and got yelled at stating she was not giving any applications, that she didn't have the time and that I should leave the store and called 911. I got a hold of corporate about this and a complaint was put in, but for other reasons I'll leave this review here, for the principal of information.

I couldn't make an order. I can't understand them. People we live in America. We would like to talk to Americans. I ended up going somewhere else. Thank you very much.
Eve is a terrible manager, called and asked for a refund because I never received my food, she went on to tell me her driver delivered my food multiple times. I was shocked she was accusing me of lying. Never again will I be back to that store, I used to always get my pizza from that store.
Update: I’m guessing it was the owner who called with a follow up. She was very nice and informed me what actions will be taking place and apologized.

Terrible customer service. Called over an hour to find out the pizza was just leaving (I understand things can get busy so fine whatever) Call another half hour later and was accused of LYING about our delivery. Had to fight with them to get a refund. Manager was awful.
I wish I could give zero stars. I had multiple pieces on my pizza that didn't have banana peppers on them at all, and the extra asiago cheese crust flavor was non existent (meaning there were also multiple pieces that didn't have any on it at all and only some had minimal cheese). The ham and sausage pizza had 1 piece of sausage on each slice and the pizza sauce on both tasted off and different than it usually does. I don't know if they ran out of sauce and used a different kind or if it was close to being outdated but it didn't taste like hungry howies sauce and wasn't acceptable. Also, on the hungry howies tracker it didn't show it was ready for pick up until we were physically in store picking it up. The lady working the counter handed us our stuff with all 5 of our sauces sliding around (no bag or held down with stickers like they used to do) and when we asked for a bag we were ignored and she continued to help the next lady and cash her out. We thought maybe she didn't hear us so we asked again and she said to give her a minute, so another employee got up and gave us a bag. We always order from the Fenton Rd and it's perfect every time but happened to be closer to this location. We will never return to this location and after reading some other reviews we're not the only ones. This location is absolute garbage.

The waiting room is very small, and gets cramped with just 4+ people. Apart from that, everything is quick, friendly staff.

After ordering from Hungry Howie’s on Center near-weekly since the pandemic ended, we're officially breaking up.
On a Friday night in early fall 2024, I placed an order through their app, spending $20 (plus a tip, of course) for a single two-topping pizza. When I arrived to pick it up, the lobby was packed shoulder-to-shoulder with people waiting—some saying they’d been there over 90 minutes. Apparently, it was Grand Blanc High School’s homecoming game night—Surprise! I waited an additional 20–30 minutes, but my order never came up. Frustrated, I left and had to order dinner elsewhere, adding nearly two hours to our evening plans. Disappointing, but we decided to give them one more chance.
The next evening, I called to explain the situation. The person on the phone (presumably a manager) apologized and promised me a fresh pizza, free of charge, in 20 minutes. I went back, only to find the same packed lobby. After waiting another 20 minutes, our order once again failed to appear.
Hungry Howie’s took our $20, wasted my time, and no one showed the slightest curiosity or accountability as to why there was extra inventory at the end of the night with my name on it. Twice.
So, keep that twenty—we’ll consider it a life lesson. In fact, use it for some Sharpies and poster board when you put up a “For Lease” sign on the front glass. Eventually, you’ll burn through customers who value the transactional experience as much as the food. With so many pizza options around Flint, it’s time we break up with "Money Hungry" Howie.

I ordered a two topping large pizza from this Hungry Howie's location. It was awful. I don't understand how these pizza workers burn these pizzas. They leave them in the oven too long. And that burn smell is terrible. This all for $12.71 (includes tax). It was slightly burned and the crust was so nasty. This is one of the worst Hungry Howie's I've been to. The two best HH's to this date is Walton Blvd in Auburn Hills and Richfield Rd in Flint (just East of Center Rd). Don't go there to the Center Rd (Burton location) for pizza or stromboli or anything. Unless you like your pizza overdone. Burnt pizza is the worst.

Love their pizzas
I normally don't eat at hungry Howies. I've had a bad experience with them before.
Until recently a worker Taylor? Or Tammy some name with a T has changed that.
Her pizza are good looking they aren't mostly dough like in the past.
Keep her around
Great customer service experience
She gave a big smile when I walked in the door and saying welcome.
I'll definitely be back as she's there.
I'll recommend it your store to my friends because of her and how I was treated.
