I've never been so sad over food. the lady wasn't very nice to us and I ordered a burger with extra pickles, tomato, lettuce, ketchup, mustard, and onion - my burger had cheese and some ketchup. my fries weren't salted and the ranch was disgusting. I'm poor and didn't look at my food until I got home, so I guess that's just my meal today. I literally cried, the burger was so disappointing.

Nostalgic and quaint diner with old fashioned Coney dog and fries. Coffee is always fresh and hot and the staff is ALWAYS perfect! Give them a try. Great place for a family watching a budget.

I watched the owner pull a waitresses hair after dropping a plate of hashbrowns and yelled in her face, "AND YOU THINK I'M GONNA LET THE STATE GIVE YOU MORE OF MY MONEY????"
What a sick individual, considering he inherited the business from his family. That really is a "pulled up my bootstraps" moment.
Great food & service. Definitely worth visiting as the food and service was very good in taste and value. Taste wise food was above and beyond comparable coney islands.

My husband was charged $14 to add shredded cheese to his 2 hotdogs… crazy. Over a $30 bill for 2 coney dogs, small chili cheese fries and a coke.

Everyone knows Starlite is great. Thats why they're the last ones standing. Flint used to have so many restaurants, most were good. Over the years they have all closed but Starlite still stands and expanded! All their food is excellent! My favorites are The Big Sicilian and The Butcher's Chop Omelette. If you haven't been to Starlite, you're not from around here and I strongly recommend you stop in for a meal!
