5 Lakes Brew Pub

Needed a break from shopping and stopped in for a beer and a few apps. Was pleasantly surprised, food was good and the server was great.

Service was decent, but food was not good! Cheese curds were burnt, nachos were burnt and dried out, and Mac and cheese came without chicken. For the price of food these days, do better folks! Come on….

Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu, although it wasn't listed on the website.

Amazing staff, awesome food, reasonable prices! My favorite local restaurant!

Very good!! Our server was very spirited and engaging and checked in with us frequently. She was on top of the drink refills.
The fries have a really good seasoning! Quality burgers too!
Highly recommended!

So with out being too negative, I'm leaving 'er as a 3 star.
I was absolutely blown away by the cost of a growler. I got the 5 Lakes MI IPA with an growler and it was $40+!
Are you serious?!
And Refills are $30...
I'm glad I got a growler for the collection. But damn that's incredibly over priced for 64oz of beer.
And as far as MI brewerys go, its not even that good (in comparison to many others in the area.
Never getting a fill here ever again.

My co worker and had a weird experience. We both work in the restaurant industry. Our bartender was bald with a light beard and there fairly frequently. As we left, he asked us if we "wanted to clean up our mess" and sweep our area we dined in as customers. Naturally, our shoes left dirt etc from our own restaurant. He expected us to clean our bar area on our time off as customers and was very weird about it..even signaling to the broom and dustpan he had out. I find this behavior extremely strange. At first we thought he was joking, but his demeanor was serious. It's absurd that a bartender would be this clueless and out of touch with the hospitality industry.

5 Lakes is my favorite place to eat and have a yummy cocktail! The service is amazing and the managers are the best! 😊

Me and my girlfriend came here on Halloween and had such great service!!! We got the chicken nachos, pickle wraps, and the jalapeño poppin burger and it was all delicous!! Just great quality and those pickle wraps are to die for!! 10/10 would recommend for anyone! i know they have drinks to and a wide variety of a selection as well."
