It use to be a good place to go. Not anymore, food is still great. Service is still very good. Its the atmosphere, it turned ghetto and trashy. It was good people, and truckers. Now its loud mouth drunks.

Staff was friendly and attentive from arrival to departure. Waitress kept checking on us and brought "to-go" box before we even asked. Looking forward to eating there again during my visits.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome. Has "step-up" booths in one area that kids enjoy getting a higher view.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not 100% accessible with some booths but wide entry and access around tables.

The food and service were amazing! Since Covid, there are so few late night food options! I was so lucky to find this gem!

I had an au jus sandwich. Too salty. Coffee was too strong like it had been made a long time ago. So I requested a pop. She never asked if there was something wrong with the coffee. Brought the bill, never asked if we wanted dessert.
Also almost hit by three cars in the parking lot when pulling in.
No people of color eating there or working that I could see.

So I came in at 330am or so on November 11th. Had chicken fried steak and eggs with hashbrown(added chez and onions) and toast. With oj and coffee to drink. My bill was 20.43. CFS was burnt to a crisp, didn't eat it and pulled it off my plate. Server noticed but ignored it. Saw her look at it. Ate everything else. Payed my bill, no tip. Was i wrong? And left. Expect this at a $10 establishment not at $20. I did ask for to go box, took it home for my dog. She wouldnt eat it either. Disappointed. This used to be my go to when I lived in Byron Center.

We came in on a Friday morning and it was very busy, but the service was still quick and the food was absolutely perfect. Would definitely recommend the “Pig Pile” and the stuffed French toast. Could not ask for a better experience!??
