The prices on the kids menu are ridiculous. $9 for Kraft Mac and Cheese. Most other restaurants in the area that serve that same thing are in the $5-$6 range.

First time at Ale Bird here in Byron Center and I got to say I am NOT impressed to say the least! The "new" menu is lacking. The seating is not that comfortable. If you are on the heavier side, the seating here is not for you. Ordered the Grilled Cheese ($14.50) and it was almost like it was cooked 3 days ago and they were finally able to sell it and gave it to us. 2 thin slices of cheese on rock hard toasted sour dough bread. The fries tasted like they had been sitting all day under a warmer. Our server, Summer, was great! But I do not recommend this establishment. Over priced and lacking for sure!

Bri was our waitress, every time i have been there and had the good fortune of being served by her it has been the most pleasant experience. You get the feeling that everyone there loves their job. The food is great, the drinks are tasty but the best part for me is the positively great atmosphere.

Lots of places we could hang out but we keep coming back here more than anywhere else. The staff are the biggest factor for us. Sarah, Brie, and Sheila take great care of their customers.

Me and my young family had a very nice waitress. They had subpar drinks, subpar food for a high price. Not only did I wait a complete hour for my food, They brought it to me in a box. Will I ever go back or suggest this restaurant to other people NO. Our family enjoys going out on Friday nights and this was probably the worst experience we have ever had. Not the person to leave reviews but after this experience I had to….

We thought we would try a new restaurant we never been to and unfortunately we sat for 15 minutes after we got to the table with out anyone looking at us for drinks or apps. We ended up just walking out.

Probably some of the worst service I have had. I had ordered the Alfredo minus kale. It came to the table with kale on it, I have very sensitive tastes to kale and it messes with my stomach and has made me sick in the past. They had it remade then sent back out I opened it and at first glance didn’t see any kale. I am now at home I take one bite and taste kale. It looks like they just took the kale out and served me the same dish. The whole dish reeks of kale. Will not be going back.

The best service and experience here. We are from South Haven and so it’s a bit of a trip for us, however worth every mile. We will be back! Great food and Jenna took the best care of us.
