Maple chicken wrap was filled with fried breading without the chicken. If you love eating fried breading and bacon in a wrap , this is great because they forgot the chicken in the chicken wrap. We waited for over an hour for two wraps!! Slow service and terrible food. The sweet potato fries were tasty.
This was our first visit to Alder & Iron and it will probably be our last. My husband and I have booked a reservation for a date night. We arrived to a nice environment and were seated immediately. Our waitress Shelby was very kind and friendly. The drinks were delicious. When it came time to order the appetizer we wanted we were told it was sold out-mind you it was 745 PM on a Friday night. We ordered a salad instead, and when we requested our entrées, we were told they were sold out as well. Turns out five of their main items on the menu were already sold out. We opted for other choices. The food was tasty, but the portions were small for the price. When my salad came, it had no dressing with it. I requested the balsamic that it was supposed to have according to the menu and was told they were out of that as well. Really? What restaurant doesn't have balsamic salad dressing? when it came time for dessert, we ordered the peach cobbler, which was really just a crushed granola bar with some warmed canned peaches on top and a couple squirts of whipped cream. Then we got the bill which had a $23 service charge already on it. I inquired of the waitress what that was and she told me it was an automatic gratuity. Needless to say we won't be going back!
When we arrived for our brunch reservation, our table was set up with cute car themed drink cups, crayons, and menus for the kids. Our server was excellent, and the staff handled 4 young boys with ease. The food was delicious. It was my first time here, and I will definitely be back for lunch or dinner!
My husband and I had an amazing evening here for our anniversary dinner. The environment was comfortable and intimate. We sat in the main dining room with a perfect view. The service was top tier, Ally was so sweet and kind and was sure to embrace our special dinner. The food was also really yummy, fresh and worth every dime. Thanks for a great meal.
We arrived at 1130 for Father's Day brunch . Placed our drink and food order rather quickly. Waited 45 min to get everyone's food but mine. Waited another 15 min to receive mine, therefore everyone else was done eating by time I started eating. The mushroom flatbread that I ordered was dry and over done. I am hoping this was just a fluke because we have high hopes for their dinner menu.
The foods and desserts were excellent, especially the server was very friendly, and the place is clean and beautiful after the recent remodeling. However, we were quite disappointed with the taste of the coffee and the coffee cups.
Excellent reception from the hostess. Incredible service! Food was top-notch. I would love to have s few more entree' options, but what was offered was very good. We'll be back!

We were with another couple. We had an awesome waitress. She was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant didn’t have any heat (malfunction) but they had a heater in the dining area. We were the only table in the restaurant and it was comfortable and warm. The food was good. The only downside is that they put a 20% tip on our bills without telling us. We left 20% additional tip…so I would suggest you check your bill…guess it was “our bad” but would have been nice to have been made aware of that.
