Went there with a friend to catch up and it was a perfect spot for that. Quiet and stylish ambience. Great service.
Overall the experience was good, food was good to ok. They tried hard to disguise the brussel sprouts, didn't care for them, have had better elsewhere. We ordered an appetizer, salad to share and a meal. We waited awhile for the appetizer, and then the appetizer and salad arrived at the same time. We were not even halfway through out salads (hadn't yet touched the appetizer) and our meals arrived. Timing was way off.
Our second time with same server. He did much better than the last visit. He needs to check in on the table more frequently. New menu and our choices were delicious ! Will come back to try some of the new items that looked good to us!
Beer cheese app was good, flatbreads ok, scallop's were not good, Steak Frittes was not worth $45. Cream bru le was weird, but the cheese cake was good. 20% service charge was kind of annoying. Server did well and the atmosphere is awesome. Overall not going back anytime soon. My wife said Fire Rock is so much better.
The food was excellent and the sever did a great job on timing when the food can out so we didn't feel rushed at all. We had the cheesy breadsticks and brussels sprouts for appetizers the walleye, stake tips, and cashew chicken for mains and everything was cooked perfectly. Dessert was the chocolate mousse and highly recommend light and delicious.
Went here to celebrate my birthday. Nancy was our server and she was wonderful. She knew the menu well when we asked questions, she made our dinner enjoyable by not rushing us, I got to choose any dessert as my birthday “cake” and chose Tiramisu which was delicious. We will be back and will be asking for Nancy. Thank you Nancy.
Elise is a fantastic server. Attentive and helpful. Very professional. Food is delicious and consistent.
The service was awesome. The food was great. Ambiance was a nice setting at the club. Overall very satisfied for our first visit.
Great atmosphere overlooking the gold course. Staff was amazing and the food was fantastic!!
Be warned that the Sunday menu is a brunch and handhelds for a normal lunch. No steaks on Sunday. But it was very good and Nancy our server was very friendly.

Our server Olivia, was great. She was cheerful and knowledgeable. Food was very good. It was quiet when we first arrived, but got louder as more people arrived. Being at a golf course, people know everyone, which can equate to a louder environment, but that did not bother us.
The food was very good. The service was not. We waited at least 10 minutes before our server came to our table. At that time we ordered drinks and an appetizer. When the drinks came we ordered food. The appetizer never came until just before our meals. We ordered the queso dip with chips and it was barely warm and not very good at all
My husband and I have visited here multiple times for dinner & never have had a bad experience! Service is always friendly & amazing! The food always taste & looks great! 😊
Maple chicken wrap was filled with fried breading without the chicken. If you love eating fried breading and bacon in a wrap , this is great because they forgot the chicken in the chicken wrap. We waited for over an hour for two wraps!! Slow service and terrible food. The sweet potato fries were tasty.
This was our first visit to Alder & Iron and it will probably be our last. My husband and I have booked a reservation for a date night. We arrived to a nice environment and were seated immediately. Our waitress Shelby was very kind and friendly. The drinks were delicious. When it came time to order the appetizer we wanted we were told it was sold out-mind you it was 745 PM on a Friday night. We ordered a salad instead, and when we requested our entrées, we were told they were sold out as well. Turns out five of their main items on the menu were already sold out. We opted for other choices. The food was tasty, but the portions were small for the price. When my salad came, it had no dressing with it. I requested the balsamic that it was supposed to have according to the menu and was told they were out of that as well. Really? What restaurant doesn't have balsamic salad dressing? when it came time for dessert, we ordered the peach cobbler, which was really just a crushed granola bar with some warmed canned peaches on top and a couple squirts of whipped cream. Then we got the bill which had a $23 service charge already on it. I inquired of the waitress what that was and she told me it was an automatic gratuity. Needless to say we won't be going back!
