Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed. This was our first time in—we’d be looking forward to it for months—& we only live a few minutes away, so I was hoping we’d found our new favorite restaurant… our waitress was rather rude/ short with us, and didn’t smile at us at all. We did a little gender reveal there for my husband and I, and she didn’t say congrats once or make us feel special in any sort of way. I even had to ask our waitress twice if the chef could write the gender in chocolate— which was the only reason we went out to dinner. When I asked if the drink I ordered was the non-alcoholic version, she nearly rolled her eyes at me. The food was good but quite overpriced, and the menu felt like an odd collection of options. The atmosphere felt cold & loud. The booth next to us was screaming, pounding tequila shots, and my husband and I literally couldn’t hear each other talk because we were too close to them, and there weren’t any sound buffers on the wall. It was a really upsetting experience for what was supposed to be a quiet, special moment for us. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.

Excellent cuisine and reasonable drink prices. I had the lunch special consisting of an Italian sandwich with an upgrade to add a cup of sweet potato soup which was excellent. My daughter had the small plate grilled carrots and the tomato soup. Both excellent! European vibe with Latin American influences.

Super super good. A new favorite for us, we got the duck wings for an appetizer, shrimp and grits, and ribeye for our entree. Everything we had was phenomenal. Cool space with plenty of space and good service. We will be back.

Food was a little pricey for a hotel restaurant, but was all very delicious. We would come back because of the great service and unique food offerings for sure! But I’m a bit worried this place won’t last long with the fine dining price point. This is not a place we’d be able to afford regularly and I have a feeling if they came down on their prices just a little bit they would reach a much broader population, especially for the location and the traffic coming through there. This was also apparent when on a Friday night we were one of three couples that were in the restaurant for a couple hours. Our waiter recommended the house made chocolate torte cake, and it was probably one of the best desserts I have ever had. Highly recommend! Truly hope this place can stick around!!

I couldn’t rank the food- because we were served none. Made a reservation, arrived on time, was seated. Ordered one meal to share and a single glass of wine. 45 min later when our water was refilled, I asked about my wine “oh you must have been the ticket that was lost” sigh. 15 min later they returned to say they were out of the one meal we ordered an hour ago (Mac and cheese) We cut our losses, paid for the one glass of wine and left. Two servers for the whole restaurant is not enough. If they are running between tables, they are not serving your guests as you need them to be. Will not be back.
Excellent service from Cody! The food was delicious! Our group shared four small plates to start. The skillet cornbread was so delicious! Three of us ordered mac and cheese, and we were all very happy with our orders. I'd like to see a little more spice added, but I understand it's Byron Center, so they can't get too crazy. Maybe include some homemade hot sauce with dishes? The atmosphere needs a little help, but part of that is because the place wasn't very busy. Prices were very reasonable, too. I'm looking forward to going back and trying the cocktails! Hoping that the BC area will embrace this original, scratch-made food that isn't also a sports bar like most of the dining options in the area.

It was my first time visiting the restaurant. I went to a private party in a nice quiet beautiful room. The restaurant was nicely decorated. The menu was a fusion of flavors. If you are into that kind of cuisine you may enjoy this menu. The waiter was very nice but seemed like he could’ve used some help with taking orders and serving our party that was in the private room. The food was priced on the high end for the quality and flavors. I am not drawn to return based just on the flavors of the dishes I tried. I had tried appetizers and salad and a couple bites of the shrimp and grits. None of what I had tried were up to my standards for flavor or menu options. If the menu is changed I may try again. I’m going to give them the benefit of just opening and may try again a few months from now after looking to see if menu is changed at all.

We’ve dined in three times now and the food continues to impress. I’ve loved the papas bravas, crispy kale sprouts, shrimp and grits, and the burger. It’s beautiful and delicious! Looking forward to trying the cocktails too when the liquor license is in hand.
