I love there breakfast at Blue heron always favorite place to go downtown.. There dounts are the best .. The food is always good and great makes you wanna come back for more I love there breakfast burritos there with the potatoes very filling.

Holy Cow, our expectations were far exceeded today for breakfast! We found it on a Google search. EVERY part of breakfast was cooked perfectly. The bacon, the eggs, the omlette, the potatoes, the sourdough and my son loved his breakfast burrito! We brought baked goods home but we're too full to try them yet! 10/10 lucky stop!

We had our wedding catered by Blue Heron and everything was phenomenal! Everybody is still talking about how the appetizers, sides, chicken, and pot roast were a week after the wedding. They brought the food in right on time and it was warm for everyone that was there. Julie was so great to work with and answered all my questions quickly. I would highly recommend everyone looking for a caterer to go with Blue Heron!

Darling gem convenient to downtown. The Pesto Chicken sandwich was a perfect flavor combination. The donut holes are little marvels of bite-sized decadence! Charming and prompt staff on hand.

Blue Heron catered my wedding and we couldn’t have been happier. They had an abundance of options to choose from, prices for every budget and REAL quality food that tasted amazing. So many of my guests commented on how good the food was. Blue heron cafe is always one of my go to‘s when I’m in Cadillac and if you’re thinking of hiring them for an event, do it! You won’t be disappointed.
Looks can be deceiving - Blue Heron was underwhelming. We were excited to visit for breakfast on the way up to Traverse City. Service was fast but unfriendly. Food was served on dirty, greasy plates. The omelet was very thick but had very little filling so it was 90% eggs. The brisket bowl was marginally better, but the brisket was a little dry and lacked the sweet potatoes and peppers represented in the menu description. Lastly the interior and tables were dirty, bathrooms very dirty. Overall just not very good.

Very good overall. But what I REALLY loved was that they don’t put meat in everything like the rest of the world. There’s plenty of bacon and sausage if that’s what you want, but it drives me crazy that every other restaurant basically shoves as much meat down your throat as possible. The breakfast burrito had no meat and was DELICIOUS and had lots of protein thanks to the eggs and beans and rice. Keep up the good work!
