Friendly owners, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They are a family owned restaurant who actually appreciates the fact you choose them over other places. Amazing food, great atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed if you stop by.

Wife and I stopped in to try the rolled ice cream. The decor is music themed with signed guitars and set list.
The ice cream was great. Neat to be able to watch the rolling process. Serving size was very generous. Spoke with the owner. He was very passionate of supporting other small businesses in the area. Although we only ordered ice cream, there was another couple who also ordered food, which looked great. Will definely go the there again.

Definitely a hidden hole in the wall kind of place from the outside but the inside is great. This place has a very vibrant and clean inside along with an impressive menu. The owners husband was very friendly to talk too also. And the loaded Mac with smoked pork was great and very flavorful. 10/10 will be coming back next time I’m in the area

Sherry Review

** Edit to respond to owners ridiculous reply. This posted WAY after the review was left. Why it took google this long to display the review is unknown. This was written and submitted on May 18th, and in regards to the visit on that date. In regards to the cooked brisket, he literally stated out loud several times while we were there that he hoped his wife was going to come back and put the brisket away that it had been done for a few hours already. We were there for over an hour and a half, some of the last customers and still there after the place closed and you were cleaning up... you said you might still have time to make it to a band you wanted to see and hoped your wife was coming back to the restaurant after she finished at the food truck to put the brisket away. Everything stated in my review is 100% factual. I consider it constructive criticism to tell you employees should practice glove changing instead of wiping them on their shirt. Its also constructive to tell you dont use wood with paint in your smoker (you left it in the crate next to the smoker visible for customers to see). Dont state out loud you have brisket that got done several hours prior and hoped someone was going to come put it away if you dont want people concerned with your food safety practices. Its also constructive to tell you not to spread yourselves too thin to where your lacking in customer service and quality. By your response, I can tell you won't be open long anyway. Trashy response from a trashy business 🤮**

We came in on Saturday. The owners husband was working with 1 other employee. He said his wife was working the food truck. The employee making the food had dripping wet gloves. We watched her keep touching her shirt and never change gloves between orders. I had a hair in my food. The brisket was dry. There was wood with paint on it in the smoked wood bin. They also had a cooked brisket that was sitting out, uncovered, on the back counter for several hours with no heat or temp regulation. It took an hour to get our food. The restaurant is dirty. We both got sick later that night and had only eaten there all day. The concept is good, and if you want to succeed, you need to hire better help and either fire or promote your husband to supervisor. He has no business running anything. He is very nice but talks way too much to do anything in a productive manner. He should only be walking around and checking in with guests after someone else served them and be there for backup help. Service in a timely manner should be #1. When he is talking the whole time about bands and whatever else, he isn't making anything or keeping things moving. There was a big line. You won't be able to sustain customers this way. It has promising aspects and the potential to be successful, but only if you go back to customer service basics, clean the place up and practice better hygiene of employees and food. All the food is pre-made, it should fly out. The ice cream shouldn't come with story time, everytime. Getting in and out in under 30min should be completely achievable every time. You shouldn't be dividing your resources between the restaurant and a food truck. Pick 1 and master it until you have a big enough following to hire competent help and do both.

This locally owned gem or truly something special!

We stumbled upon this place while vacationing in the area. The rolled ice cream was incredible. It far exceeds any other ice cream you might find at your standard shop. Highly recommended the Skeggox Prudex and the Cotton Candyland. The portions were huge, and well worth the price. I didn’t get the chance to try the food menu, but it looked equally as good.
This place is top of my list, next time I return to the area.

Awesome place. We had lunch here and were surprised at the amazing quality and friendly service of this place. Much of the food is homemade, and it’s top quality. We had the pulled pork loaded Mac and cheese (you should order this), a hot dog and some grilled cheeses. All were excellent.

The other surprising thing was the free arcade machines our boys loved.

Try them out!
