There are a few places in Michigan that one can obtain specialty coffee and a properly brewed cup. This is the only place that has served me the best cup I’ve had since paying a mentor to instruct me. Their kindness to another barista coming to town from south Michigan was phenomenal, it’s the best I’ve ever been treated at any establishment but their coffee was the best experience I’ve ever had, Aaron is a true master at his craft and Jin was a great, knowledgeable, and welcoming barista. So far, this is the best café I’ve had in Michigan. This is a place to be proud of, will DEFINITELY be visiting this place every time I’m up here.

My Japanese grandparents who are particular about green tea ordered matcha latte for the first time ever and loved it so much! After that they started to get matcha latte at other cafes too but said Owl Eye's was the best. They now have high expectations for matcha latte lol

I’d give them 10 stars if I could! I got the same drink at a Starbucks the day before and this was just *sooo much better.* And the hospitality of the owner was such a sincere blessing and joy. It was absolutely worth the detour off our route to stop by — well done and blessings to those behind Owl Eye Coffee!

We ordered a hot brew and a dirty chai. Both were very delicious!! The ladies who made our drinks were so nice, personable, and welcoming. We had a nice conversation with them. We will definitely visit this place again the next time we are in Cadillac.

This place is awesome. I found them from a local shop who uses their beans (Shout out to Brennan's Up North in Gaylord). I am from Texas, but have roots in Michigan. I was able to make a stop here on one of my trips, and so glad I did. Fantastic flavor, not bitter, truly friendly staff. I enjoyed a piece of Michigan today as it is October and we finally had a morning with temp lower than 70-degrees. Perfect for a warm cup of Owl Eye! Thanks y'all!

Came out from Houghton Lake and was not disappointed. The owners were super nice and talked coffee with me for almost an hour, didn't mind me sticking around after they closed. Their filter coffee (Colombian pink bourbon) was fantastic and so was their scone. I also picked up some green coffee beans and got some tips on how to roast them. Will definitely be back
