Dined with friends... decided to try a new place... Our table meals were the Crab stuffed walleye (overpriced & mostly tasteless), pork - just okay, chicken fettuccini alfredo - good, and another chicken dish - good None of us thought the meal was excellent; just fair and overpriced for the quality. The ambiance of the place was nice; on the lake views. Our server was attentive and helpful. We may try again, but not at the top of our list.
Way too much noise pollution. The entire camp ground nearby could most likely hear.
This restaurant is located right next to Mitchell state park. The owner's care so little about the hard working families who wanted to have a peaceful evening around the campfire on their once a year vacation, that they hired a hell raising rock band to play their "noise" so loud all evening that the campers cannot even enjoy their time here. Even the dogs are howling and barking. The kids cannot sleep. Oh well, as long as patrons at the bar are having fun, I guess that's all that matters to them.
If I could rate 0 I would. Almost called in a noise complaint. You can hear this place all throughout the campsite next door. Really ruins the camping experience ?
They hire minors who can’t manage so expect to wait while you stare at 10 open tables in this chemical smelling restaurant. Then the food preparation - forget it. Crap. The prices are way too high for crap service and shart cooks. Microwaved food. Good luck!
Finally we were able to visit this amazing place. We love outdoors, so the terrace was just perfect with the view of Lake Cadillac. Calm saturday afternoon, excellent attentios. The gastronomic experience was really good. Perfect spot, worth visiting
Wife and I stopped for dinner on way back from Traverse City. Restaurant was very busy because of prom night in Cadillac, but we were seated within a few minutes. We both had prime beef tips which were very good, but we could have split the meal since portion was so large. Our server was very attentive despite the large crowd, and they did a nice job of handling the well dressed student crowd. It was fun to see them. There are certain items on menu available in half portions at half price, a great deal! We will stop here again.
Went Saturday night for the comedy show. Was less than impressed within the first 10minutes there. The kitchen tension was very visible to everyone because they were obviously arguing right in front of the door window, the wait staff was definitely stressed (our waitress said she didn't even work there and got pulled from another restaurant) the waiter at the table behind us said the kitchen staff was yelling at him, and watching the bartender pour drinks I was wondering if people were even getting the alcohol they paid for. All in all it was a very stiff and uncomfortable first experience.. poorly management and rude staff will get you no where!
You could tell they all worked very hard, the waitresses and bartenders Didn't seem like they knew what they were doing that much though, so its hard to say anything about how long the food took and things like that. The food was very very good and overall a good night.
We really enjoyed Sultans Table! Great drinks, great flatbreads, great service AND a great band. Thanks for a fun night!!

Great service and comedy was a good time!
Our group of three couples was able to walk into the Dockside Inn without a reservation, but the facility filled up shortly after our arrival. Nice decor, relaxed but fine dining. Prices are a bit higher than other locations but everything we had was delicious. Appetizers consisted of stuffed mushrooms and artichoke dip. Both were yummy, but suggest the artichokes chips have been cut smaller. The prime rib was so tender and the loaded baked potato was perfect. One lady had the Marrow Ragu pasta and was so pleased w it. Another person had Prime Beef Tips and enjoyed her meal as well, especially the sweet potato w Cinnamon butter. Taking a chocolate tort home for later! Looking forward to visiting this restaurant in the summer as I'm sure it will be beautiful.
This restaurant has a lovely view of Lake Cadillac and has been nicely remodeled. At our table tonight our meals tasted very good and we had adequate servings. Probably the main problem we have with the restaurant are the prices. A hamburger costs $20. Did it look good, yes, and it was large; but it was still a hamburger in a nice restaurant, not an outstanding one. The cheapest wine by the glass was around $11. A glass of Meomi Pinot noir was $15…..but at their own party store across the parking lot, a bottle can be purchased for $20. This area of Cadillac is popular for tourists. It would be nice if customers would feel comfortable financially dining here and not feel “taken” by the pricing. Service was good.
I will give them some credit for being new but come on. I had the chicken sandwich. Meat was cold, and had zero flavor. Was expecting a smoked flavor or seasoning. Mac and cheese was like Kraft mac and cheese. The bun, omg. felt like I was a bird pecking at a feeder.they need to add a deep fryer for more side dish options. They have some stiff competition in this town I hope they can step their game up. you want good BBQ? the truck stop is where its at.
Very blah food. I would give it one star if they have been open longer. Nothing was actually smoked with a smoke ring. No salt in the rub on the meat. I think they only used paprika. Strong "smoky" parprika taste. It's a shame because smoked meats are so easy to do. The sides were also bland. I had to eat baked beans with a fork. The sides come in paper containers which is weird for a place trying to be fancy. My wife had th brisket and it was rubbery. It's really a shame because low and slow with real smoke is so easy. There are other places in town if you want real smoke flavor with a smoke ring. Beautiful view. Classy place. My wife and I will be back for a drink, not the food.
