The food is great! The chicken is so flavorful in the pitas, the appetizer crab Rangoon chips is excellent and creative.The golf course is pretty to look at too and a great dining room area for parties/events.
First, I've always liked the Royal. However, I think they've lost their focus. Keeping in mind this restaurant is Member owned and is there for the members. My last visit on Friday night rubbed me the wrong way. I ordered the special, fish, fries and coleslaw. My wife got Parm crusted Cod which comes with veggies and choice of potatoes. She opted to forgo the potatoes for dble veggies unknown to us it's a $2 up charge. My coleslaw came in a 2 ounce condiment container which is a $2 upcharge as an added side. 2 ounce of coleslaw is a tablespoon! I don't understand how you advertise salad with your meal when it's only a single spoonful? Obviously the place must be on the verge of going under if this is where they cut costs? Very disappointed!

CAME FROM OUT OF TOWN WITH A LARGE GROUP & EVERYONE WAS SATISFIED WITH THEIR ORDERS. THE WAITRESS WAS VERY POLITE AND FRIENDLY. THE DRINKS WERE DELICIOUS. DEFINITELY COMING BACK WHEN IN TOWN.

This place has got food at the same quality of antlers grill but half the price. The service is always excellent and the food is consistently great. I'm surprised this place isn't busier. We are from the Kalamazoo area where we were used to having many good restaurants and up here we've had a difficult time finding any quality restaurants at all. This place is now in my top five!
