This place is my go to for sushi and coconut fried rice. Service is fast and fantastic. Food is delicious. The best thing about them is their consistency with flavours and quality.

Excellent Japanese cuisine. Very affordable. Great food. Good folks. They have a good variety of Apperizers, soups and salad, Sushi, special roll, deep fried roll, vegetarian roll, Temaki roll, Sushi Nigiri, Maki rolls, Sashimi, Bento box, Lunch specials, Katsu, a variety of Thai food. Good selection of wine and spirits. Ramunei drinks. If you like Japanese food, you will not be disappointed.
I am a sushi snob from California and am often disappointed in the lack of good quality sushi in the state, but Aki has some of the best quality and prices in the area. Sushi tastes fresh and is plated well. Also their Veggie Coconut Fried Rice is a touch of heaven with perfectly cooked rice, veggies, egg, and uniquely seasoned- so don't over do the soy sauce or you will miss the delicate flavor . Reminds me of a rice dish I used to order when my daughter was in college in IL and have never had anything quite like it until now.
I got tofu pad ThaiIt was drenched in some type of sauce. When spoke with the manager he told me I ate most of it…..because all the vegetables were gone.I’m like bro- I ordered tofu. Then he says well you ate the salad and we will charge for that. Next time ask for less sauce on the pad Thai, most people request it.Gross. How about therewon’t be a next time….based on customer service alone.

I frequent this place too much for all the drama they cause me! It's often something with these people!!...I arrive at 8:25, and I check the time that they close (9:00!)well I go in and the attendent seats me. And before the waiter comes he saunters by and says "we close at 9:00 is that okay?" Its just me so I give him a thumbs up - not the first finger I thought of!Am I wrong for feeling some kinda way?

We've been coming to Aki for a few years and it's AMAZING! Neil and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming, they always remember our order. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. We have one in our family that always orders the chicken pad Thai and said it's the BEST she's ever had!

Got the beef bento special which includes a miso soup, California roll, and gyoza. Beef didn't have much flavor, miso soup was not as tasteful either, and I can say the same for the California roll. Price was pretty good as you get quite a bit of everything for a great price but I'm not too sure it's worthy of another try. May have been an off night, who knows
