I visited Cold Stone recently and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. It always seems like they’re short-staffed, which is understandable since they’re trying to run both Cold Stone and Blimpie in the same space. The location is in a busy area surrounded by lots of homes, so it’s constantly packed, but the lack of staff impacts the service.
What really put me off was the state of the mixing “stone”—it was filthy. It looked like they hadn’t cleaned it properly, and I could see bits of other ice cream flavors left on it. I didn’t want a mix of 15 different flavors in my order. On top of that, the waffle cone I ordered was stale, which was a huge letdown.
The only saving grace was that my kids’ ice cream was good, but overall, I wouldn’t rush back. They need to work on cleanliness and freshness, especially considering how busy they always are.

Absolutely do not plan on coming back. Ordered sorbet and was given ice cream. My child is lactose intolerant, and now they are vomiting. Train your staff better. This is unacceptable. At least the bag our order came in was handy.

Honestly, it is such a a shame that a wonderfully located ice cream shop isn't cared for by the owner. The hygiene of the establishment is severely lacking. The ice cream is completely out in the open and there are flies and fruit flies everywhere, it was incredibly disgusting to see them buzzing around and know they may sit on the ice cream at any point and lay some eggs. The interior is also really old and gross, could definitely use a good clean. I really hope they work on this because otherwise the ice cream is supposed to be delicious, and the shop's location is amazing for summer night outings.

Flavors are pretty good. The ice cream is delicious. Its expensive though. Save your money.. don't get the waffle cone. Its not just disappointing because its not crunchy, its also smelly, eggy, chewy and leaves a foul taste behind. Ditch the cone. Good ice cream.

This place doesn't deserve a 1 star rating. As soon as my husband and I walked in the door, the place smelled horrible, flies were everywhere, and the service and staff were not all that great either. We have been to other Cold Stone Creamery ice cream parlors and they did not smell like this one nor did they have nasty floors etc.
Tried the Silk Almondmilk Chocolate ice cream - it was great! Solid option for dairy-free / vegan people. The people barely mixed in some of the mix-ins like the Oreos though, I just had two FULL Oreos in my ice cream lol. I assumed a mix in means they crush up the Oreo a bit so that it’s edible in the ice cream. So, the service was sub par.

Now, I'm quite accustomed to how some items will taste no matter the location, but the waffle cone at this location was too soft and disappointing to be considered their signature crunchy waffle cone. Yes, the odor was a bit alarming, and the shop was very humid to be considered an ice cream shop. Main concerns as follows: bad waffle cone, odor of shop, and temperature in shop. Also, the first time, I did not like my regular flavor.
