Great food. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced.
Saw this place in someone's IG and knew I wanted to come taste what they had to offer! I had the Mama-Style French Toast with a side of bacon and they were nice enough to mix apple and cranberry juice for me! We also got the Crab Cake Benedict which was also really good!
The place isn't extremely large so if you are bringing a large group, I would call ahead to see what your options are they have plenty seats but it's compact so you have been warned.
Tricia was our server and she was Amazing! Super nice and attentive! The GM, YaYa, also came around to every table to check on the service! She runs a tight ship and I can appreciate her level of customer service and dedication to make sure her team is meeting that same level of satisfaction! I'll definitely be back!
We were able to make a reservation for a larger group. Great food and service.
Everything was amazing the hosts made sure we were taken care of and comfortable with the situation of being a bit late for our reservation. Left feeling buzzed and full with left overs. Service was amazing food was amazing drinks were amazing. Emily thank you for being so great and the two hosts at the front were super cute and nice. The GM was literally walking around making sure everyone was comfortable and pleased. We will be back
Happy 4th of July!!! My fifth time coming and they never miss! Food is always top tier.. Thanks Diamond for being our server you were amazing!
We had a party of 4. We got our food and appetizers before drinks and then when we got the bill after bad service, we were hit with a large party fee of 18% add to the bill. Will not be back as was not posted for party of 4 you have to pay large party fee for bad service.
I rarely leave reviews, but this experience demands to be acknowledged. What was once a reliable and enjoyable restaurant has deteriorated into a disorganized, dismissive operation that showed no regard for its guests’ time or experience. We were quoted a 20–30 minute wait. We were finally seated after 1 hour and 30 minutes — without so much as a status update, apology, or gesture of courtesy during that time. Once seated, we were left untouched for another 15 minutes before anyone approached us to take a drink order. When the drinks did arrive, they were hastily made, unbalanced, and forgettable. The food, though once a highlight, has clearly slipped. At best, it was mediocre — a shadow of what this restaurant used to deliver. But the food wasn’t the true issue. The real problem was the complete absence of service standards and leadership. It’s clear the front-of-house staff was overwhelmed and unsupported. The decision to overbook reservations and continue accepting walk-ins — while knowingly disregarding wait times and customer experience — falls squarely on management. I watched numerous guests get misled, turned away, or left standing indefinitely. The system in place isn’t just flawed — it’s negligent. Dining out should never feel like a test of patience. What should’ve been a relaxing evening turned into a frustrating ordeal that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I will not return, and I wouldn’t recommend this place until serious changes are made. My time, like every customer’s, is worth more than what this restaurant was willing — or able — to respect. Here’s your review, rewritten to sharpen the tone, elevate the language, and deliver a cutting but composed message that clearly communicates your disappointment:
I recently visited French Toast Bistro and loved the experience. The biscuits and gravy I ordered were perfectly seasoned, with fluffy biscuits and rich sausage gravy and eggs. My friend’s chicken and waffles were a hit too, with crispy chicken and light, airy waffles that balanced sweet and savory beautifully. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made it even better. Highly recommend stopping by, we showed up early and it was still busy!

Too expensive for the little portion of food you get.

The food was great. I particularly enjoy the shrimp and grits. The gumbo is great and the hamburger that I had was juicy and fulfilling, it could have had more seasoning but thats my taste buds that demand more. I enjoy going to this restaurant and our server was outstanding. She kept the strawberry lemonades coming.

It’s not hyperbole to say my meal, indeed the complete dining experience was completely exemplary by any meaningful metric !
I was greeted by a cheerful and charming man, seated politely and promptly. My server, Lauryn was delightful 😊. Here, I must gush a little… she was knowledgeable, professional, courteous and kind. She was attentive without being over zealous ( which I SO appreciate!). She made perfect suggestions to accentuate and personalize my culinary choices. She deserves all possible ‘Stars’ !!! Well done!!!
My lobster omelet was a perfect balance of taste, texture and presentation. The gumbo was also wonderfully savory and slightly spiced - top tier, for sure (and my Irish coffee was the ideal remedy for the freezing Michigan morning!
In conclusion, what an amazingly enjoyable brunch! Kudos to the staff and establishment for an incredible balance of hospitality and culinary accuracy. All in a warm and inviting environment, with a very relaxed atmosphere with pleasing ambiance. Thank you French Toast , and again the highest compliment and accolades to you, Lauryn - you certainly made my day special!
I’ll be BACK ! Lol ! 👍🩷😂😏

My friends and I went to French Toast Bistro for brunch, and it was an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious—everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. Although the wait time was long, it was well worth it. The service was excellent, and our server was super friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be returning for another great brunch!
