I ordered two rolls and seaweed salad and what I thought was edamame. The spicy tuna looked like it had food coloring and tasted like really sweet. Was really odd. Instead of fresh veggies in the rolls they put lots of greasy tempura crumbs. It's a cheap ploy in Michigan and I really detest it. Instead of edamame they brought me takoyaki and it was not cooked all the way inside. I want fresh quality fish and veggies when I get sushi and this was not it. Was tons of low quality...
Decided to stop by this place after visiting the IKEA of Canton, and was extremely surprised with how great everything tastes, as well as being affordable! If I ever stop in Canton, I’ll for sure come back to this little spot.
I’ve tried tonkatsu and tantanmen ramen at other places, but the broth was often too heavy with pork flavor. Here, the balance was perfect—rich, flavorful, but not overwhelming. The dragon roll was outstanding, with tempura that stayed super crispy. The ramen broths were deep with umami, and the jellied egg was spot-on. The noodles tasted fresh and homemade, and I enjoyed every bite down to the last drop of broth.
