Grafton Tavern - Grafton Hall & Banquet Centers

We've only been here a handful of times. Our 1st was absolutely horrible and we did return until after it was sold to new owners. We returning our visit was amazing. The next couples of times were pretty good aside the fact the kids grilled cheese doesn't look like a frog anymore lol. We went to grab dinner last night and I have no idea what the heck was going on. I ordered a cheeseburger well done, no onion. My father ordered nachos no jalapeños and my husband ordered nachos no tomato with light lettuce. When they (we had 2 waitresses for some reason) brought our order out my burger had onion on it and I told her right away I asked no onion. All she said was sorry about that no offer to fix it. I said well I guess I'll eat no toppings and scraped all of them off. I don't like onion taste and don't eat anything it touches. Still no offer to fix it. Then my husband's didn't have any lettuce on it. Both my father's and husband's nachos the cheese was on the bottom so they barely could scrape cheese onto their chips. I tried putting mayo on my burger but the mayo was empty so I grabbed another from a different table and that was empty too. I bit into my burger and it was still raw. I spit it out and tried finding one of our 2 waitresses. Finally was able to flag one down and tell them. She said she'd fix it and asked what I'd like to do with my Tater tots. I asked if she could bring me a bowl and I would put them in it so I can eat them while I wait. She took my whole plate and brought my Tater tots back. By time I got my burger the right way my father, husband and daughter were down eating. We weren't asked if we needed refills. I dont know if every Friday night is like that but I'm finding it hard to come back.

Came in for dinner & the Category 5 concert. Room was way too packed for all of the people in it. Especially when there's an activity Hall attached... Viewing for the band was lousy.
The wait staff was amazing. They did a phenomenal job of keeping up

Service is slow as molasses waitresses will have long conversations then rememberthat there is customers after awhile. Food is good though.

Went there at 10:30 on a Friday night to eat and have some drinks called earlier and was told kitchen is open till 12 am bar closes at 1 we walk in and are told kitchen is closed and last calls at 11 need to work on customer service and maybe stick to the hours you post

Thank you Amber! Our server! I would give her a 10 if I could! I hope that was her name! 9 of us plus all the other tables that thought they where the only people in the place!! That gal was dealing with 20+! I cannot imagine doing this! She handled it like a rock star! I appreciate her more than anyone can know!

Brunch buffet was great. I personal couldn’t eat much, but I enjoyed what I was able to eat. My mother enjoyed it as well. Regular menu items is fairly priced. Definitely will be back.

Ordered the reuben sandwich - it was good but one recommendation would be to put the dressing on the side - other than that service was excellent - waitress was a rock star and is my favorite

We had a group of ten, midday, midweek. The service was fantastic. All the orders were fresh and accurate. Everyone was served at the same time. Good value. Someone l9ved the Grafton burger

I had the unfortunate pleasure of having the the unprofessionalism of the management team reply to my review of Grafton Tavern. It is clear that the management had a serious problem with communication. The manager, in particular, through the response given was rude and dismissive, failing to address my concerns with any semblance of courtesy. It’s one thing to have a lapse in service, but it’s entirely another to pass the blame onto your patrons. This level of denial and refusal to take responsibility is not only unprofessional but downright unfair. The leadership at Grafton Tavern clearly lacks any semblance of effective management. Simple ideas, like placing a message on their phone line to inform customers that the business is closed but will be happy to serve them once reopened, seem to be beyond their capability. Instead, customers are left in the dark, wasting their time and energy only to be met with condescension and blame. A little bit of basic planning and decent communication would go a long way. Unfortunately, Grafton Tavern has failed on both fronts. I would strongly recommend avoiding this establishment unless you're prepared for a frustrating experience with unprofessional management and poor service. Visit Anson's or Farmer's for a better experience.

this place is horrible my plate was room temperature like it sat out for 30 mins. took 45 mins to get our food😡 never again will I come to this chithole👎👎

It's a great little hangout, great selection of drafts and the food is fantastic, try the Cali wrap

It’s nothing special for the super high prices just like trappers their parent company and Vince’s drive in! Horrible servers and bartenders also. They also use terribly cheap alcohol for most drinks they make. And sell top dollar.
