We were in the area and decided to try this place, as Mexican food is a favorite of mine. There weren't business hours posted on the door, so my husband went in to check their hours. Sid assured him that it was A-OK to come in even though it was 10 minutes before closing! We had a new waitress, Makalie, and she was efficient, friendly, & made us feel welcome. Both Sid & Makalie made our dining experience so pleasant!The FOOD~ PHENOMENAL!! We had a beef burrito and a chicken chimichanga, and chips & salsa. EVERYTHING was so tasty!! The best chips in the thumb for sure!! Well done, Los Padres!! We will be back, and make the half-hour drive to do so! I'm going to try their philly steak tacos next!The place is very clean!! A+++Parking: Parking is right at the door and spots are all close to the building.

Not good! My husband and I tried to get a decent dinner in this city but when my food came out I noticed a funky smell and it was the ground beef in our food, it smelled sour ( clearly it was old). The waitress seemed apologetic but I have a feeling that it will continue so BEWARE! If I didn’t stop my husband from eating ( he has no smell) he would have been very sick.

Very good, love to visit when I can. Staff is always polite. Food is good and haven't had any complaints yet.They offer a selection of meals, several of which are nice to eat on a day where you need some comfort food. A nice tamale can make a bad day feel ok.
Service was a bit slow, but everyone was nice. The rest of the experience was 5 ⭐Food came out awesome! $10-12 a meal. Salsa was a bit bland but you get that everywhere now.. add your own hot sauce.Salad and quesadillas were solid ?I'll be back!

Really good food, excellent warm crispy chips, good salsa. I had the enchiladas and they were delicious! The beans and rice were excellent also! Definitely going back.
