We were here for Shanty Days, on a cooooold day in winter. Our service was excellent, all of the staff seemed happy to be there. My husband had the BLT Flatbread which he really enjoyed. But the star was the boneless wings I ordered! The breading and sauce were both great, exceeded my expectations. Glad we stopped in.

We love beachys! The ambience is wonderful. So colorful, fun and well beachy. The owner has done an amazing job designing this place and making it a fun, coastal experience and there is live music in the summer.The food here at brunch is pretty good. I got the lemon ricotta pancakes with a side of bacon and potatoes and they were good. I think they could have been better if they had a layer of ricotta cheese mixed with lemon and sugar in between each pancake. It was just a little glaze on top that wasn't very lemony and they could have added bigger blueberries. Their breakfast potatoes are fantastic! Perfectly crunchy and great seasoning.Dietary restrictions: My daughter has a peanut allergy and they did a great job making sure she had options to eat that were peanut free.

Was this originally the Boat House? Assuming this is Beachy's website....Seated quickly at a picnic table then forgotten. Watched other tables get water in cool Tiki glasses, and receive drinks. After 15 mins of not even being looked at, my husband stood up, flagged down a young man who was waiting other tables who went and got our waitress, a young woman who didn't get us water, just asked what we wanted. We put in a drink order-2 beers and 2 soft drinks for the two kids (11 & 13). Got a nacho to share. Waitress came out with the soft drinks, no water (it was really hot out) and walked away. Nachos came out, were barely warm and looked like a salad, totally covered in lettuce. Still no beers. Finally the beer came and she took our dinner order. A few mins later someone else brought us beer, and we said we had just gotten ours. Got the shrimp tacos, they were awful. Menu says rice inside the taco, but got a bed of quinoa inside the taco, and so much pickled cabbage it was dripping liquid and mushy. I picked out the 3 shrimp and ate them. Also did not get the corn chips and salsa that they were supposed to be on the side. To be fair, my husband and one of the kids loved their perch sandwiches. The other one got the sunburn chicken sandwich which was dry and way overcooked. OK atmosphere and band outside. The server was the downer for us. We watched other tables get waited on quickly, fun and smiling waitstaff. Maybe our waitress was new, everything took forever, she seemed stressed and we tried to joke with her about the wait, and she said "well one of our main waitresses is off tonight" and was not real apologetic about it. Didn't seem to affect the other servers. We'll try some other time, get a different server. This was before "Cheeseburger", not during, at which time it would not be fair to review.
