I've always loved coming to this brewery, even after nearly 10 years! It just gets better with age.

Very good beer and food!

Ordered carryout from this place for the first time today, exceeded my expectations by far with how awesome the food was. Friendly staff, short wait, and really, really good food/atmosphere.

Was fantastic as always.

Really good restaurant with good food. The Wiener and Jäger schnitzel are really good and taste just like in Germany.

I’ve been in twice now and this is just a really great brewer here in W. Michigan. I’ve had a few of the beers and they are all really good. The Hef is fantastic. Try the schnitzel as it’s pretty good. It’s an American version, but a somid recipe with good quality ingredients. The atmosphere is great, they have beer hall seating in the middle but also high or low top tables if you prefer. Bar seating too.
Find a seat, look the menu over, then go up and order at the bar. Food is fast and hot and, as I said, it’s good.
I’ll be cmback several times I’m sure.

Had a great lunch

Our most recent experience here was not enjoyable at all. We felt the staff was very rude. Maybe they're just stressed out, but we will not return. There are hundreds of restaurants and breweries in this area to choose from, this one has moved to the bottom of the list.
Save yourself the hassle of this place, grab your favorite beers and gather at a friend's. You'll have a much nicer time.

Horrible set up for ordering food. Went with 2 other friends and we all went up to the bar at the same time to order food. One friend's food arrived about 25 minutes after ordering, then 15 minutes later the other friend's and then after that mine was another 15 minutes later. We could not eat at the same time and we were late to an event because my food took so long. I didn't even finish it. This was not the first time! Last time we went it was the same scenario. Food came out at all different times. No point in going out to eat with friends here because you don't eat together. It sucks if something is not right with your food or if you get thirsty while you are dining, you have to get up and go get another drink while your food gets cold. Terrible dining experience.

We visited Cedar Springs Brewery on our way home from Traverse City with our little dog. We found the food, beer, soda, service and atmosphere delightful! Very dog friendly and people friendly. Great German & American beer and food.

Good service, chefs don't wait anyone to have a side of sauce that goes to anything else with any food. Kinda ridiculous in my opinion. Places should accommodate people who don't prefer spicy sauces or anything they might not like.

Great experience. Fresh hot food. Had a smashburger and a pulled pork sandwich with the Brussel sprouts and was amazed. Affordable drink selection as well. Very very clean place. Not a sticky spot or piece of dust anywhere. Very impressive. Also bonus points for super friendly non pushy staff.
