We decided to come here for our birthday weekend for a Sunday brunch and Irish music complements of St. Patty's Day. The menu was a special menu of Irish specials. I got the poutine, my husband got the fried perch basket, and the youngest got some chicken strips and fries. Everything was really good except my poutine. I wasn't able to eat very much of it as the salt gravy.... I mean gravy was so unbelievably salty. I mean it might have shut down my kidneys. I could've sat here and licked a block of salt and been just as well off. I mean. It was bad. I ate the egg off the top and a few of the curds with a few fries and I was done. Well it was just as well. We were there for the music and like I said, it's a special menu so chances are you won't be able to order it again for a year. Hopefully the recipe will be worked out by then. The perch basket and chicken tenders were obviously on point as my husband and kid cleaned their plates. The music for the holiday was also on point. There was no table service, I'm not sure if that's normal, but all in all I would try them again. Food freshness gains 3 stars as it was all likely prepackaged and deep fried. Quality 3 stars giving credit for the perch and chicken tenders (Poutine only would be 1 star), service 2 because it was friendly at the bar but nothing table side, cleanliness 4 stars cutting major slack as there was not an empty seat in the house, ambiance 5 stars for the loud Irish music that gave me a headache for the day (worth it), and the whole crowd that came today made it all a pretty epic time. That's 3 of 5 stars, some definite room for improvement but nothing that I wouldn't try again.

This place is the community staple of Cedar Springs. I feel like I am at home every time I walk in through the doors. With an amazing tap list of some of the best quality beer I have ever experienced. The food menu is great here as well. Rotating specials to keep things exciting. I look forward to every visit at Cedar Springs Brewing!

Beer was delicious, but $10 for an order of fries and $15 for an oversized pretzel is a bit ridiculous.

It is a fantastic place to go. The food and beverages are excellent, the staff are always so pleasant to talk to. My bride and I go whenever we are up in Cedar.

Ive coem here a few times and have never had a negative experience. Every time the food was really good, an served in a timely manner, the waiting staff pilot and welcomeing. Also, the on tap beers are terrific! And absolutely love the authentic German atmosphere, food and beer. Will be back.

Honestly the best beer I've ever had. That takes the spot over founders, new Holland, perrin, and bells. Also, great selection of good. Good schnitzel and the only place I'm aware of to get it regularly. I'd avoid lunch unless you want to fall into a food coma early in the day.

Delicious food, amazing beers, and wonderful service! Definitely a must visit if you're in the Cedar Springs area and worth the trip if you're not.

Food and service is great! Cool place that has warm outside seating and cool themed nights with live music.

The atmosphere is awesome and the root beer is great but the food is not good. Poorly made. I used to love the fries but then they changed those so I don’t even go anymore.

Local friends directed us to the jewel of a brewing company. You have to try the original brew! It is Among the best we’ve ever tasted and the German menu was wonderful! Everyone loved their meal.

Rather focused food menu but pretty extensive drink menu, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. First time that we've been here when there was live music. It was a bit loud for my liking, but that's probably because we're getting old.
