This is a great place to stop for a meal and maybe a drink. I tried the gnocchi with pesto cream sauce and found it to be pretty much fantastic. It’s on their summer menu and as such will rotate off soon, but it’s really good.

They are fairly busy, at least the day I was there (Thursday in summer), so lots of voice noise, but no problems.

Staff are all very friendly and aim to please. Food came out pretty fast and was fresh. I sat at a high top on the bar side and did not have to wait.

Give it a try with you go to Cedar Springs!

We recently hosted our private wedding shower brunch at Redbird, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Kirsten and her staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect. The setup was beautiful, the space itself is warm and welcoming, and it worked perfectly for bringing together friends and family.

The food and drinks were excellent—great quality and flavor at very fair prices—and the service was seamless throughout the event. Kirsten’s attention to detail and her team’s professionalism made planning and hosting stress-free, which we really appreciated on such a special day.

If you’re looking for an intimate, well-run venue for a celebration or event, Redbird is an excellent choice.

This was my first time eating here, and I found it very difficult to order from off their menu. Being older I eat very little, so it’s to everyone’s advantage that I order from off the kids menu. ( I do, at so many other places), Only, the waitress made it abundantly clear she could not, would not allow me to order from the kids menu. Telling us in no uncertain terms that it would not fair well for her if she allowed me to order. It is incredibly sad that the waitress must work under those conditions because of this restaurant’s policies.

If they are serving less food to kids, it’s the same amount of food for the same price if ordered by someone that isn’t 10 years old. It’s not like they are losing on the deal. Only they are losing. They have now lost a potential returning customer.

We will not be eating at their restaurant again. I HAD to order their Pear salad, of which 90% was a leafy lettuce, 2% dressing, 2% was pear slivers, 1% cheese, 4% nuts. Since I would only eat a 1/4 of any menu item I had to order from, the prices of those items made it ridiculous to do so.

The waitress did everything in her power to accommodate us and did it with grace. Her service was great.

I would not recommend this restaurant, as there are so many others that’ll accommodate older adults that don’t require that much to eat.

Mom and I ate here last week. I had the pear salad that I just can't stop thinking about! It was one of those amazing salads that you'd never be able to make at home. I'll definitely be back to have that again!

My husband and I stopped here on our way through town on Father’s Day. We were surprised that we were able to walk in and get seated right away at 12:30. The restaurant looked really cute at first glance and the menu looked great. After we ordered, we started looking around at the other tables and noticed that no one else in the restaurant had any food at their table and we started second guessing our decision. After a considerable wait, our food finally arrived and it was very disappointing. We both ordered omelettes. The cheese was not melted on either one of them. My husband’s meat lovers omelette had cold lunch meat ham chopped up in it. My omelet had barely cooked onions. Each omelette was served with a single slice of toast and nothing else. It was a really pathetic $40 breakfast. The restaurant was very clean and our server was nice but I would never recommend this restaurant or eat here again.
