FRESH START CONEY ISLAND AND RESTAURANT

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat before heading to discount tire, I was greeted soon as I walked in by a polite waitress! The Restaurant was clean and inviting. I ordered fries and a chicken finger pita.. the chicken was cooked perfectly. The tomato’s were freshly diced along with the lettuce. Fries were not soggy or over cooked, and tasted great! I know it’s a simple meal but so many restaurants over look the small things! Thanks for the great experience! I Will definitely stop over again when I’m in town!

Li ordered a patty melt with chili cheese fries and a order a brake fast. After 25 minutes waiting Everything was under cooked Everything went straight to the garbage we didn’t even touched it. ??????

I’ve been here a couple times and the food is horrible from frozen fries to freezer burnt and still frozen chicken tinders. The waitresses are really good and nice but the cooks are horrible. If it’s not frozen it’s burnt to a crisp. The cooks DO NOT wear hair nets! And don’t keep there hands sanitary constantly touching their phones. If u are in the area I’d take the time to drive one more exit and eat off Belleville rd.

So earlier my friend and i stoped here for a quick bite to support a local business. Well even tho it was empty we wanted to give it a shot. She got a blt and the bacon tasted bad. It tasted old and just off. I got a coney n fries it didnt taste off but 2 hours or so after my stomach started cramping bad and i got really nauseous and threw up. Im currently in bed now bc i think i have food poisoning. This just happened today. Verified it was food poisoning with my dr. Will not be back. Terrible.

I ordered through doordash. first time eating from here overall it was good. However I ordered a bacon cheeseburger didn't receive any bacon on it I also ordered biscuits and gravy and unfortunately they didn't have any biscuits. Would order from here again it's just next time I'll make a special note to double check my order

the food was okay…mediocre but for the price honestly you can’t complain the waitress is very nice but if your looking for amazing food and fantastic service i recommend somewhere else.they were also out of chicken noodle soup and had something called “chicken broth soup” which was just broth and vegetables ig. they were also out of taziki sauce and corned beef. we only ordered enough food for 3-4 people and that’s how much they were out so i can just imagine on a regular day.

The food is really good and our server was kind considering the dead restaurant. We came around lunch time, ordered a veggie skillet and a slim jim with fries. Everything was hot and fresh off the grill. You could tell the oil in the fryers was changed recently. Overall, I'm impressed.

Restaurant was dirty. Was seated at a table that was not washed. When I asked the waitress to clean it she acted like it was not in her job description! Won’t go back.

I ordered a patty melt, fish & chips and chili fries and I asked that the fries be well done/crisp. The fries were barely cooked and when I sent them back I swear they gave me the same chili fries in a different container. The fish was overcooked and it was/is a very bad experience and “I” would not recommend this place! $25 for nothing! *****Update! The manager of this place (sorry I forgot your name) literally called and bugged me about making this right (I’ve never seen such tenacity). He/they replaced the order and were very happy to do it. The food was better but the customer service made it great! I will go back.

Food was great and the service was outstanding over all great restaurant I definitely recommend it and will go back again soon.

Food was good not too long a wait for it, and the staff is so much better and friendlier than the staff that worked here when it was Joe's.

I ordered online. The food was ok. Eggs/hash-browns were overdone. What I ordered online is not what I received. Recommend phoning in your order . The server was more concerned about cashing out a dine that was left with not enough cash for her tip. Online said order would be ready in 15 minutes. It was 45 minutes.

I love this restaurant! The food is top-notch. The portion sizes are great. The service is outstanding! If any of those things sound good to you, definitely visit Fresh Start!
