I absolutely love this restaurant! Beautiful view, great food, friendly people and great service, what's not to love. This is honestly my family's favorite place now!
Awesome place to get food. Went here for my father in laws memorial.
Our waitress was very nice, service was good, food was great, but the environment at this restaurant is rough. It is basically a bunch of drunken golfers screaming at each other. It is not a fine dining restaurant. When asking the manager if the experience is always like this he told us that the golfers rent the villas, and get wasted all weekend long, and then come in to eat. If you are looking for a place to find completely hammered people, cussing and swearing, shouting at the top of their lungs, with no respect….This is the place for you! I’ve been there several times and the food is always great, but the environment is hit or miss depending on how many wasted people are there. Would love the restaurant if the environment was family friendly, and respectful. Hopefully, we can come back when the golfers are not completely obnoxious.
We like both locations! Wish they would expand their menus to add some better dinner options at the golf course!
My son planned his wedding to be in Centreville. I had no idea to even begin to find a place for the rehearsal dinner. Gibby’s on the Lake was recommended by a friend who grew upIn the area. Right from the first contact, I relaxed and knew I had found the perfect place. Steve worked with to provide a beautiful setting and delicious menu for our 50-person dinner. He handled the tent rental, set up all the tables and chairs and provided his best wait staff to attend to our group. The service was outstanding, the drinks were perfect and the food was delicious (salmon & pasta, chicken Marsala, salad, bread)it was such a great experience, we returned for brunch on Sunday. Breakfast tacos were awesome and the chicken & waffles were hot, crispy and delicious. And the golf course provided a beautiful relaxing backdrop. If in the area, this place is worth stopping.
Gibby's on the Lake hosted our class reunion. Michelle, and Steve were very accommodating. Great time, and great food. Their staff did a great job with our larger group. Thank you!
Great friendly service. Food is excellent and atmosphere/view great. I tried the pork chops and they were the best I have had. Tried the chicken tenders and also the ribeye and both were excellent. Walleye was tasty and a good portion. Potato wedges and salad for sides enhanced the meals. Even tried the stuffed French toast for breakfast and if sweet and good is your thing then this is a great choice that won't make you feel stuffed. All this located on a top notch golf course with the best of accommodations. I hope they are still around for the next visit.
After waiting several mins for someone to acknowledge us to be seated . We arrived at our table with our waitress. She toke our drink order and we didn’t see her again for 25 mins plus. When ever table around us had been seated after us and received drinks and ordered food. Another Wait staff approached our table and asked if we had been helped . Our waitress was just walking over bring ing us our Pepsi and Tea that we had waited 25 mins for . When asked what toke so long she said well I have a 10 top.. sorry but 25 mins to get a Pepsi and a tea is ridiculous. She then informed us that the kitchen was taking another 45 mins to get our food out if we ordered.. so it would take at least 1 hour and 15 mins to get a Pepsi and a burger because she had a 10 top . Sorry Lexi B but you need to learn to be a waitress and have a 10 top and a 2 top. Always heard great things about this restaurant however this was our first experience and Lexi B made it where we would not come back and left without ordering food and would not recommend.
Amazing food and service! Will be back
Great place and great people!!

I wish I could leave a really good review, but there is a lot to be desired by this restaurant. I’ll start with the good. Gluten free options. The views are very pleasant and the veggies are fresh. Outside dining is a great option to have available. The hours are great, brunch menu reads like a dream. Unfortunately, that was where the positives ended. I ordered chorizo breakfast tacos with cotija cheese. If that was chorizo, I’m a monkey’s uncle. Pretty sure that wasn’t cotija sprinkled on either. Looked like Parmesan and spicy bob evans sausage. All the food was cold. To her credit the waitress noticed I hadn’t eaten much and asked if it was ok. The food was good, but COLD, ice cold and not as described. She explained that was because of the avocado and tomatoes, which I’m sure is partly responsible, but even the meat was cold. My husband’s food and coffee was also cold. The chicken and waffles were not freshly made, but hard and dry, just reheated and barely at that. The waitress’ response was not an apology but “I’ll tell my husband”. It’s better than McDonald’s, but not worth $50.
Breakfast was really good...had traditional eggs,bacon,potatoes,toast...will ask for seat with a view next time. Also, coffee was not good, hope it improves
We ate at Gibby’s on the lake this week and it was wonderful! All of our food was delicious, and the service was great! Love the outdoor dining. We will be back! ?
Closed when got there at Seven pm. So sad
Can't tell you much. We have gone twice and couldn't get waited on or even acknowledged. Left without even getting a beverage
