We have been coming here for many years and keep recommending it to other people. All seasons! Excellent beer and a great outdoor scene with fires. Such a great vibe. Other people like Hop Lot across the bay, and it's nice with a fun vibe but the beer here is so much better! What caps it off though is the great pizza (usually fresh, but occasionally frozen) from next door which makes it a great place for everybody. The combination makes it my favorite brewpub... What a vibrant atmosphere! So many people, including children, having a great time listening the live bluegrass band playing oldies (e.g., Stray Cat Stat, Brown Eyed Girl), and playing cornhole. Great place to watch the sunset over Lake Michigan. I've been to many microbreweries and their beer is top notch. In particular the Rockin' and Rollin'. I'm not much of a stout person, but this coconut stout was outstanding.! What a unique and brilliant combination....
Beautiful setting! Rolling hills overlooking Lake Michigan. Tasty brews, lots of variety with beer, cider, wine and kombucha on draft. A hiking trail links up with the outdoor area if you want to hop on a trail (we did). Dog friendly. Very friendly bartender named Topher!
