In Charlevoix for Labor Day weekend and had a hard time finding somewhere that would do takeout on the main strip. We got two of their pizzas on Sunday night and we were very happy with the result. Thin crust, great flavor. Highly recommend the Buffalo chicken and supreme pizzas. Will come again next time we're in town.

We were searching Courtney for a good burger, and a menu suitable for four young kiddos & two adults. We ordered two black market burgers, the Korean chicken sandwich, & polenta fries. It was by far the best food we had on our vacation! The adults and kids were all making yummy noises throughout the whole meal. We have decided to abandon our usual choices and dine here from now on when in town. The food and service were incredible, and we didn’t have to wait long. Highly recommend any chance you get! ??????

This was my first time eating from black market foods! I ordered over the phone then went and picked up my food at their new location down town and let me tell you they are the nicest people! Great costumer service! And the food oh my goodness it is delicious!! I had the hot mess and it was so good lots of flavor and just down right perfectly cook! I 110% will be returning! ?

Cool little truck right off US 31 north of Charlevoix. Ordered the Belly Up sandwich and slaw and cookie as their version of a meal deal. It was prepared quickly, and everything was fresh and tasty. The sandwich had a Ponzu sticky sauce, which was slightly spicy and tangy. Cookie was good as well. Meal was simple, but very satisfying.

I love the Polenta fries, the burger, and the Korean Chicken fried burger. Everything is delishiouc. it is always a treat to bring my boys here. You can't go wrong with anything you order! Yum Yum

We were in Charlevoix for a wedding and arrived just in time for the final minutes of the farmer's market on Thursday. Just enough time to visit the Black Market Foods booth and follow their recommendation for lunch at their food truck (which was enthusiastically endorsed by all the neighboring booths). After picking up packets of chili starter and grill seasonings to try at home, we headed for the truck, which is located north of downtown (about a mile) across from the golf course. I had the special tacos and husband had the Big Lake Roll (smoked trout sandwich) which he loved! He made it a box lunch by adding chips with homemade French onion dip and an oatmeal bar, both very yummy! We enjoyed it so much we went back two days later and hubby had the Hot Mess, basically a deconstructed cheeseburger (ground beef, cheese, pickles, catsup, mustard and crispy onions) - another winner. I had the summer veggie sandwich (roasted veggies, white beans, lettuce, seed mix, and a delicious sauce) which was very good (also available as a salad). There are picnic tables out back where you can enjoy your lunch and one of the owners/chef stopped by to chat with us. Oh, and we also bought a quart of their homemade Bloody Mary mix to take home (we tasted this at the Farmers market!). Highly recommend this food truck just far enough away from the bustle and crowds of downtown.

Long wait and many options sold out, but what we did try was excellent! Came for a small bite to share. Tried the polenta fries and the deconstructed Korean Chicken salad/burger. Great as a gluten free option. We had a lot of mediocre food on our week long vacation. But this place was excellent!

Their service is always friendly the prices are spot on for the quality. And their food... Pastrami sub is soooo good because they make the pastrami in house, it is truly delicious, the hint of mustard the cheesy goodness and the pastrami is flawless. Soy chili chicken. Its like, if a chicken died and went to heaven that's what it would taste like! Out of this world! And their French fries are always awesome ?
