First course: Amuses Bouches. Devil quail eggs, mango and prosciutto, and a Bloody Mary olive bite
Second course: grilled shrimp with Asian Slaw
Third course: Esperance Luna. Ravioli with Parmesan, Chèvre and ricotta cheese, spinach and tomato sauce
Fourth Course: Veal Chop
Fifth Course: Chocolate Pot De Crème with chocolate chip cookies.
This was all perfection! From the table, to the service, to the food and the atmosphere!!!

I stopped in for the wine, but return regularly for the dinner. This is one of the most memorable and enjoyable meals you will have. Pram is an amazing host, and will help you select your bottles prior to arrival, which is nice when we start with a white variety. The top restaurant in Northern Michigan, period! Wish they were located in Cincinnati!
Lovely gourmet food and wine shop and cafe. The cafe has wonderful food and service in a nice outside space, but does have limited availability. The shop has a good selection of wines, yummy cheeses, and a variety of other specialty foods (and chocolates). Highly recommend!

Maybe you didn’t know Pram does gift boxes. He does! Tell him generally what you want and he does it with style. Our friends and family have enjoyed Italian dinners, fantastic cheese with condiments and WINE. Pram is the rock star of wine and gift packages. I’ve used national brand companies but Esperance exceeds by far!

Just encountered the rudest staff at this place. The owner is a clown. Threatened to shoot me if I wasn’t wearing a mask if I wasn’t vaccinated. Joking or not, that’s not something you say to someone. He just lost out on 8 customers who are wine and spirit lovers.

If there is one word to describe this establishment, it would be superb. Pram and Suzanne have created a gourmet oasis in Charlevoix with a sophisticated retail selection of food and wines plus fine dining experiences. Our recent meal there was an outstanding event.....beautifully and innovatively presented, each course was more delicious than the next. Topnotch service was provided by well informed college student servers. Pram always was on hand to help with interesting wine selections. FYI: Fine dining is offered W-Sat in June, July, August.
